Reader's POV
The noise became louder than the ones before. My body ran in the direction of those screams on it's own. I hid behind a large tree, peeking at the scene. Tenten, Lee, and Neji were fighting off some suspicious person with a dark coat. 'I hope that they're okay..' I said to myself worrily.
Lee was using his taijutsu skills to defend himself from the attackers weapons. Tenten was using her own weapons to deflect them into a different direction. And as for Neji I wasn't paying any attention to him. My mind was telling me to help them, this person seemed dangerous. 'Whatever I want to do I need to do it fast!'
Tenten's POV
"Lee watch out! You nearly kicked me in the face!" I said to Lee angrily. He was defending himself from the attacker, who was very powerful. Every time Neji was close to landing a hit on this guy he would get blown back. 'I hope that (f/n) is safe, she wouldn't be able to protect herself from this psycho. His eyes look awfully familiar.' More weapons were thrown near my direction, I deflected them to the best of my ability.
Reader's POV
I couldn't stand to see my comrades getting attacks hurled at them. Enough was enough! I came out from behind the tree and sped towards the alleged attacker. My fists started to flare with a dark chakra. The attacker grabbed my arm quicker than I could blink.
The chakra immediately washed away. My blood began to boil: no way was he going to hurt my friends any more! After getting a closer look at the attacker my heart stopped, everything stopped. He had the same face, same composure, and the scariest of all: same eyes as the person I feared most. I felt all of the color pour out of my face at that same moment.
He smirked deviously and stared coldly deep into my soul. A single tear escaped my angered eye. "Long time no see.... (f/n)."
