Vivenne's P. O. V.

I proceeded to take the smoke bomb and use the next 10 minutes of my life ensuring Becca that it would not harm her or blow up anything.

" Actually I never asked. What DID you say to Miss Rosa in exchange for the baking soda?" What can I say.. I've got a very high level of curiosity.

" I said you spilled some sauce on your shirt and you want to see if you can use baking soda to remove the stain. I've read online somewhere it is possible to do so."

"Not everything on the net is true, even though that in particular is actually true. I'm just saying, no offence or anything, but you believe everything on the Internet WAYY too easily."

"Let me run my life."

" Sure thing moron."

As we closed the lab door behind us, i realized that there were security cameras everywhere.

I told Becca to wait here and i ran into the lab once again, i took a fire lighter, went back outside and lit the smoke bomb on fire.

As the fire was slowly burning the string, (not yet burning the fluid that would produce the smoke) I thought of two ways to escape :
1. When the smoke creates the fog then pretend we were being kidnapped or something.
2.when the smoke creates a fog then the security cameras won't see anything, then go behind the security cameras and remove the memory chips and disconnect the wires.

This was a time i was thankful for low ceilings.

Either way, the school will notice two people missing and think that two "kids" like us would not be able to pull something as huge as this off, so they would think someone else did it. Like a kidnapper. But we'll just pretend we're being kidnapped by a non-exsisting kidnapper after we escape, like sending videos out to the school, and stuff like that.

I decided that i was gonna take the memory chips out and disconnect the wires. Becca can't act.

As the fog surrounded us, i worked quickly. I basically used my knuckles to hit the camera until the memory chip would spring out from its little "pocket" inside the camera. I repeated that process with all of them. Each didn't take long, about 1-2 minutes each. Thankfully i added loads of baking soda so now the duration of the smoke bomb was longer.

By the time i disconnected all of the wires and took out all of the memory chips, my knuckles were on the verge of breaking. One little scratch on my skin and it would start bleeding.

The smoke bomb continued to produce smoke, so i took the smoke bomb along with Becca's hand and ran outside.

Because i took the smoke bomb with me, the smoke clouded around us wherever we went, so no one could see us, but just a trail of smoke. We raced to the school gate and left.

When i ran... i ran past Ryan. I caught a glimpse of his face while i ran by. He seemed horrified. That's a shame cuz i sort of like him.

I made up my mind that after i figure out what's happening i would go meet him or something. I would be-friend him. Seems like he's a mission entirely on its own.

And also, i had a feeling that this -whatever this is-was something bigger than cancer.
