Vivenne's POV
A pale man with dark hair who was very lonely...
"Hello Vivenne Westwood."
He was pale like he hadn't seen the sky in decades, his hair looked greasy black, and his eyes alone expressed sadness. Overall, he looked ghostly, but he was age less.
"...how.. How did you know my name?" i couldn't think. How indeed?
The man chuckled.
"I know the people i save."
"Please sir, if you know my name, it would only be fair to know yours."
This man saved my life apparently. I could trust him.
He gave another light chuckle.
"Ah, the wonders of younglings. You're a curious one, aren't you?"
" I uh... Tend to ask a lot of questions all the time ?"
He gave a hearty laugh.
"Very well then. Some call me " The Last Judgement Man", others call me "The One With Wise Words " But really, I have no name. Does that answer your question?"
"Yes, uh thank you sir. Another question.. If you saved me, does that mean I get to live again? "
"Yes, but stay for the rest of the day? Like I said, I haven't talked for decades."
I thought about it for a while, and decided that if he even had the mercy to save me, i think i should repay him.
"..Alright."
The man smiled.
" Vivenne, i did not save you just because you had a strong will to live. But there is a prophecy dating way back to the time where the first humans lived. Do you know who they are, Vivenne?"
I thought for a while. I don't think I've ever been taught this.
"..No."
"They are called, the gifted. Vivenne, these people had abilities. Are you sure you haven't heard of them?"
"..These people are a myth, are they not? Are you saying they exist?"
".. No. Not yet. You need to enter the grand picture to make them exist. You are here to receive a mission, Vivenne. A mission, that would change your life forever. If you don't do this, I'll have to wait another 14 thousand years for another worthy of taking up the mission. Are you up for this?"
A mission. A dangerous mission, no doubt, if he has to wait 14 thousand years for a worthy person . If i take this up, i will be entirely on my own. No directions, instructions, nothing.
But then again, who would turn down an adventure?
"..Yes i will take up the challenge."
