Vivenne's P.O. V.

I was back at that place.

That really really REALLY dark and gloomy place with the volcano. Yeah, that one.

Except this time my skin wasn't burning. I was totally fine.

Well, my skin was. I don't know if my insides were roasted like chicken though.

I looked around me and saw some sort of lava chains around my legs which were attached to some sort of anchor. I looked up and saw these strong lava chains tying my hands to the ceiling. I looked down again and saw the volcano.

Why the heck was i here? How did i get in this situation?

I looked around and saw someone in the distance, not too far.

"HEY YOU!!! HELLLOOOOO!! CAN YOU HEAR ME??? YOOHOOO!!" I was screaming at the top of my lungs, but with a volcano right under you, it's hard to like, be hidrated for long.

And i guess she couldn't hear me because she wasn't turning this way. I looked closely (well tried to anyways.. The smoke from the volcano wasn't really helping) and saw her struggling to stand up. Maybe.. She was chained too? Or was she physically impaired?

Then the ground shook. The earth rumbled. I looked down and saw the volcano erupting.

The lava burst out of the volcano, splashing some on me. Surprisingly, it didn't sting. Or burn. But maybe i was immortal, that would be cool. I don't know.

But then i remembered the girl. I glanced back her direction, and saw that she broke free from something. But once she broke free it was already too late. The lava had reached her and she started to burn.

Why had i forgotten her? I could have saved her by warning her. Why was i so selfish?

Just then a bat landed on the lava chains above me. Then two. Then three. Then a whole colony of bats just stood there. These looked a lot like blood sucking vampire bats if you asked me. But i wasn't afraid. I was terrified.

I felt sharp teeth lunge at my skin, tearing it apart. I opened my mouth to scream out in pain, but no words came. I felt my blood oozing out of my limbs, and heard the lava chain above me burst, leaving me to fall to my death.

My skin was fine though. Well, what remained of it anyways. The other parts, not so fortunate. The lava stung the wounds the bats left me. It was as if i was pouring salt on an open wound. The amount of pain was like using a chainsaw to skin myself alive. But then a minute later, i was fine.

But then the anchor helped sink my body to the bottom of the volcano. But volcanoes don't have bottoms, now do they? They go straight down to the earth, into the mantle. But Mantles don't have bottoms either now do they? They also go into the core, then into the inner core. By then, if i was immune to fire or lava or heat, i would be scorching from heat but never able to die.

Unless of starvation, i guess.

Or what i was just gonna do : pass out because i can't BREATHE down here.
