A/N: About time we got some non-messed up SeaMex in here, eh?

A paint can sat precariously in the crook of two tree limbs, its point of view twisting side to side in an effort to make sure its coast was- and remained- clear. It was anybody's guess how it had gotten to that spot; likely with a jump from the nearby roof, but there was the question of how it had accessed that roof in the first place. Nevertheless, it was there now and the controller of the paint can felt somewhat proud and cocky. The clock dwindled down to the last thirty seconds, and he felt confident enough in his spot to relish in victory. Looks like this was another win for-

"Fuck you!" Max bellowed, hitting his hand lightly on his desk to illustrate his irritation. He heard eruptions of laughter through his headphones when the game ended in favor of the Hunters, one laughter rising distinctively among the rest. He rolled his eyes in the direction of his computer displaying the skype call, and laughed lightly with them.

"I thought I had that," he admitted, slightly pouty but not looking entirely too upset. He saw on his screen that the ten rounds of Prop Hunt had run out, and it was time to choose a new map. At the thought, he felt a yawn force its way out of his mouth and loudly into his microphone.

"Up for more?" Ritz asked the group as a whole, which consisted of Ze, Ritz himself, Max, Ohm, and Adam. Max considered it for about half a second, then shook his head.

"Nah, I think I'm out for the night." He turned away from his game monitor and towards the skype call, though nobody had video up.

"Well, I'm good for another map or two," Adam assured, his voice clearly relaying the grin that was surely on his face. Ze and Ohm confirmed they were too, and Max said goodbye before shutting everything out, and checking his recording. He yawned again, and decided against starting any amount of work on the footage. He ensured everything was saved before shutting down his things and exiting his office.

He heard loud laughs echoing from another small room on the other side of his bedroom and rolled his eyes fondly, forgoing the bedroom in favor of that office-style entryway. He pushed open the door without concealing himself in any way, but it appeared Adam was too busy concentrating and listening to the people in his ears to notice. Max stretched out his shoulders and cracked his neck to relieve stiffness while he watched.

"I don't know what you mean Ze, I would never do anything like that. I'm not about that life!" Adam stated into his headset, in a tone of voice instantly recognizable as him blatantly faking innocence. He laughed not long after and Max saw what he suspected was Ze's body on the ground not five feet from where Adam's spot was. His boyfriend was still laughing triumphantly when the clock ran down and he won.

Max made his presence known by draping his arms around Adam's neck and lazily down his chest, and leaning over the back of the seat with his nose pressed into his neck. The smaller of them didn't flinch, leading Max to suspect he had actually noticed Max come in after all. From the corner of his eye, he saw Adam turn his chin in the direction of his recording camera with a frown. They weren't exactly ready to publicize their status with the world, though pretty much all their friends knew.

Max stayed the way he was a few moments longer with his eyes closed, then kissed Adam's cheek before releasing him as the round started. Adam smiled brightly up at him and squeezed his hand.

"One more for good luck?"

"Shut up," Max said teasingly, walking out of the camera's view and sitting down next to Adam's chair to lazily watch everyone play. He was honestly exhausted, but he wasn't willing to actually go to sleep alone, so he decided to tough it out. He'd largely faded out any sounds for a while before a particular sentence made him glance back up.

"Max isn't asleep yet, he's being my good luck charm," Adam said casually into the skype call, and Max saw they were switching maps again. He figured this would be their last go. Adam reached down and pushed his hair around in effort to purposefully annoy Max, a mission which had its goal achieved. Max stood up and pulled the microphone towards him.

"Hey guys, it's me. I swear if any of you let this bastard survive more than three more rounds, I'm going to kill all of you."

"Come on Maxie," Adam whined, pulling Max back by his sleeve so he stood directly beside him. The older of the two smiled up from his chair. "I'll go to sleep with you right after this map, okay?"

Max nodded, having pretty much already figured that, and resumed his previous position with more attentiveness than before. Every once in a while, when Adam got too cocky, he'd nudge him or tickle him to throw him off his game. At one point he announced to the call Adam was in fact cheating and enjoyed listening to Adam attempt to scramble his way out of the accusations.

The group was beginning to run out of spots and props and plans, Max could tell, especially by the way Adam chose a completely normal spot without much thought in the ninth round. Satisfied by what would likely be a shorter round, he stood up and pulled Adam's headset off his ears, ignoring his looks of confusion completely and utterly. As the American moved to reach for the device's return, he grabbed Adam's hand in his.

"Your spot is fine- boring, but fine. You probably won't use any footage from the round anyway."

"Hey, it's been hilarious to watch them walk straight past it," Adam pointed out with a laugh and a large grin, though his eyes were scanning Max's face. Max noticed and leaned over him, effectively caging Adam in his work chair. He dropped his forehead against Adam's hairline, forcing the smaller to look nearly back into his skull to meet Max's eyes.

"I really fucking love you, you know that?" Max's declaration was slightly slurred, giving way to signs of exhaustion. Adam giggled and tilted his head back, lifting his unheld hand to Max's neck and pulling his down against his lips. Max was plenty cute enough as he was, but sleepy-Max magnified that attribute times a hundred.

Max kissed him back, pressing down and releasing his held hand which went instantly to his hair, ensuring the younger was locked tightly against him. Max trailed his lips to the side and used his teeth to play gently with his ear and the sensitive skin under his jaw. The action elicited a sharp intake of breath and a shaky exhale that sounded just a bit too satisfied. Just past Max, Adam saw his prop shot and the round end. There was only one more game to be played on that map, but he didn't care much anymore. He pulled Max away from him with some difficulty, but didn't quite succeed as Max grabbed him by his waist and pressed his face into his neck.

Adam grabbed his headset and quickly stated he was done for the night, hoping his voice didn't display being flustered. Ignoring the questions of where he'd vanished to the last round, he sat it back down and was instantly turned in Max's arms.

He laughed, pressing his palm into Max's chest as though to hold him back. "As much fun as this sounds, I think it's time for boring old bed, don't you think?"

Max looked confused at the idea for a moment, then yawned loudly to illustrate Adam's point. "... Fine."

Adam smiled triumphantly and guided Max out of the office, and into their bedroom. Any episodes that used that footage would need a lot of editing.
