Chapter 13: Wanted dead.

(Yumi pov) It's been two days since I've been back, things are really strange... I haven't been attacked at all!

"Yumi: What the hell."

"Suzu: What?"

She jumped on a low tree branch I stopped and looked around. I sniffed the air then climbed the tallest tree and looked around. Suzu jumped on my head and tapped her paw on my head getting my attention.

"Suzu: Girl! What's up with you?!"

I tilted my head up just a bit so our eyes could meet.

"Yumi: Do you not notice it's been two whole days and we haven't been attacked?! At all!"

I jumped down and when we reached the ground she jumped off my head and landed on the floor and looked up at me.

"Suzu: So that's an issue?"

I started walking with her right next to me.

"Yumi: You don't find that strange?"

"Suzu: Maybe Naraku is taking a little longer to plan out his next move, but that gives us time to prepare."

I jumped on over a fallen log and turned to her. She's sitting on it looking at me.

"Yumi: It's not just him... I mean even before naraku we would get attacked about 5 times in just a few hours. Somethings not right..."

She jumped off the log and onto my shoulder as I continued walking.

"Suzu: Well I'm sure it's nothing bad."

I continued to walk until I hit a dirt road, I looked left and stared down the dirt path.

"Yumi: Someone's coming."

Suddenly the persons foot steps got louder. As if they're running. It's a female, human, she's a priestess and theres a demon after her. There face appeared and so did the demons, she has a bow in her hand and arrows on her back. She turned to the demon loaded and shot at it and killed it. Kagome did the same thing. Then she continued to run in my direction again. Only now I realize thats she's hurt and there's more than just one demon! She tripped and the demons went for the kill. I un sheath Eremento masuta and raised it above my head.

"Yumi: Chi."

Then an earth wall came in between her and the demons. I rotated the blade and pushed forward, spikes came out of the wall on the demons side and continued to stab them. She got up and ran towards me. I put Eremento masuta back in it's sheath, the earth wall and spikes turned back into the dirt road reviling the dead demons. She stopped about 5 feet in front of me. She seems unease, which I can understand. She looked at me up and down then at Suzu.

"Yumi: Relaxe if I wanted you dead I would have killed you by now."

We made eye contact. She has the same eyes as Kagome, even the same hair color... Is she Kikyo?

"??: As true as that is. It's not what I was thinking."

I crossed my arms and leaned on the tree behind me.

"Yumi: Oh? And just what are you thinking?"

"??: First off how can a Human wilde a demon's sword, second why did you help me?"

I chuckled, she grabbed her left side where I smell blood dripping.

"Yumi: Normally someone's first question would be 'who are you?' Not anything you just asked."
