Chapter 26: Sesshomaru's Discovery

(Sesshomaru pov) Since the night I brought Yumi back to her time I haven't been able to relaxs, and the humans in this village aren't helping with their damn caution around me. Yes they should be very afraid me, but it's beginning to get annoying. I have been going to the well everyday and I have stayed there until night just checking to see if Yumi came back early, but I haven't had any luck. On the fourth day I left the village in search to find Bokuseno, an old ally of my father. I wanted to see if he has any knowledge of the demon woman, that saved Yumi. I still remember his confusing and useless words.

"Sesshomaru: Bokuseno it is I, Lord Sesshomaru. Are you awake?"

The face on the demon tree opened his eyes and study me.

"Bokuseno: Sesshomaru... It's been awhile... Do you have more questions about your fathers swords? If so I'm afraid I've told you all could."

I shook my head and a curious look appeared in the tree demons eyes.

"Sesshomaru: No, it's not about that... But I was wondering about my father's allies."

Curious and confusion was written all over Bokuseno's face.

"Bokuseno: My my this is most unexpected... Is there one you have particularly in mind that you wish to knew of?"

I nodded my head and he waited for me to speak, with his normal bored expression.

"Sesshomaru: I do not know of her name, but it seems to me that she was a friend of my Fathers and I wish to know for sure."

"Bokuseno: Why is that?"

I sighed knowing that if I want all of the information he has I will has to tell him everything that happened to Yumi and when I was at Totosai's. So that's what I did, I told him all about Yumi and her abnormal superhuman abilities. By the time I was done Bokuseno was silent, but I waited for him to speak. Father what else are you hiding from me? Even in death you continue to confuse me and curse me with your unpredictable ways.

"Bokuseno: Your right the demon women was an ally of you father..."

I gave him a look as to say 'Continue', Bokuseno sighed and went on.

"Bokuseno: But she was not just any ally, but a very good and old friend of you fathers. She's not someone to completely fear, if she is watching over this human women of yours it's a good thing."

I growled in irritation.

"Sesshomaru: I understand that, but who is she and what was she to my father? She knew too much to be just a friend, not even just about my father but about me and Yumi as well. You know her don't you Bokuseno?"

Bokuseno deeply sighed.

"Bokuseno: Sesshomaru, I can not answer your question. I'm sorry Sesshomaru but this is how She wants it. Yes I do know her and thats all you need to know."

I growled again.

"Sesshomaru: Tell me who she is. What is her name?"

Bokuseno closed his eyes.

"Bokuseno: Forgive me Sesshomaru, but you're not ready to meet her yet so until then I wish you luck."

Then he disappeared and faded into the tree.

I continued to sit by the well and I looked up at the sky, I spoke with Bokuseno two days ago and yumi should have been back by now... I turned around and looked down the well. I should go get her, I'm getting tired of waiting. I stood up and put on foot on the edge of the well, then I stopped my self. Wait, why am I so anxious to get her back here? There is no possible way that I miss her... Is there? *sigh* Why do I even try to fool myself. I want this human girl to be mine and mine alone. Yumi... My Yumi even when you're not around you hunt me not only in though but in my dreams as well. I looked up at the sky and felt the cool breeze blow, I closed my eyes enjoying it. Now that I think about it I act very different around Yumi. It's strange I feel at ease around her, i feel as if it's ok to have emotions and not be a jack ass. When I'm with Yumi I feel something I have never felt before... Another thing is that I have fallen asleep around Yumi one to many times. Since I'm a full demon we don't normally sleep on a regular basis, if a full demon sleeps it's for days never for a few hours. That only happens if our mate is nere by... Wait... Yumi, no she couldn't be... Is it possible Yumi is my mate? I shook off the thought and jumped down the well not caring if it was day time, I want to see Yumi.
