Chapter 24: Sicking Event

(Before I start this chapter just a lil heads up. I'm gonna write most of this chapter is 3rd person. Don't worry I'm only testing it out. Ok? Good, now on to the story!)

Chapter 24: Sicking Event.

(3rd person pov) The dog demon Lord Sesshomaru sat with Yumi the whole night, during the night he took off his Kimono shirt (leaving on the white kimono undershirt) and wrapped her in it because she was shaking so much, even with Suzu in her big form wasn't enough to keep the young lady warm that stormy night. Morning came and it was still gloomy out, Sesshomaru step out of the cave and looked around. There was no danger he let out a deep sigh as he heard Yumi cough again, he walked back into the cave and watched the human girl tossed back and forth in her sleep coughing and sweating. He heard movement of a little girl streching, he sighed again knowing that Rin was waking up. Sesshomaru turned his head to the little girl as she crawled over to Yumi. Rin sat by Yumi's head, Suzu's tails separating Yumi and Rin as she looked at Sesshomaru, her big brown eyes sparkled with a worried look on her face.

"Rin: Lord Sesshomaru, what do we do? Yumi isn't getting better."

Yumi took a deep breath, Sesshomaru pulled Rin away from Yumi as she began coughing again. Not wanting Rin to get sick he placed her down away from Yumi. 'Sesshomaru: Rin is right, Yumi don't seem to be getting better. In fact it seems her sickness is only getting worse.' The Demon Lord sighed once more knowing what he had to do. Lord Sesshomaru stood up and turned towards little Rin who's staring at Yumi, then Sesshomaru with an irritated look glared at his sleeping servant Jaken. In a deep voice Lord Sesshomaru growled at the sleeping imp.

"Sesshomaru: Jaken get up."

With this demand the Imp demon Jaken slowly awoke from his deep sleep. Jaken slowly looked up at his master and bowed his head. In a squeaky and tired voice he spoke.

"Jaken: Oh, M'Lord. Please forgive me. *yawn* I didn't get much sleep last night. Thanks to that insolent Human."

Sesshomaru glared at his servant, Jaken shrieked in fear of his Lord, now wide awake Jaken bowed his head continuously and apologies. Suzu lifting her head up and letting out a low growl towards the annoying imp. Young Rin only shook her head, normally amused by this scene, but not today. Rin looked at Yumi once more, Rin remembered how Yumi took care of her when she sick. Rin looked at Yumi as a motherly figure and missed her very much when she left to venture out on her own. 'Rin: I hope Lord Sesshomaru knows what to do. Yumi isn't getting better and I don't know what to do... I hope Yumi's gonna be ok."

Rin watched closely as Sesshomaru carefully picked up the sick looking girl, Rin then tilted her head to one side. Jaken did the same as Suzu stood next to Sesshomaru.

"Jaken: Eh... M'Lord... Um what are you doing?"

Sesshomaru turned his head towards Jaken only giving him a quick glance then, turning his attention back at his beloved Yumi.

"Sesshomaru: Taking Yumi back home."

Rin, Suzu and Jaken gasped at his words, Jaken jumped to his feet as Sesshomaru started out the cave. Rin ran up to Suzu and gave her a questionable look, Suzu nodded in agreement. Suzu was confused about this just as much as the little girl, Suzu and Rin turned there head towards Sesshomaru as Jaken pleaded with him not to go to Yumi's time.

"Jaken: M'lord, y-y-you can't go... Please M'lord I think it would be best if Inuyasha took her back!

"Sesshomaru: Inuyasha!?"

The Demon Lord growled at the sound of his half brothers name. Jaken squicked once he realized what he had said.

"Jaken: Not that you incapable of doing such a simple task. But he does know time, and we don't know where Yumi lives or-"
