The school day went by far quicker than I ever thought it would. Currently, I was waiting just outside the school's main entrance for Cameron to meet me. He walked out with three guys, two of which I recognized from my math class earlier.

"Who's the third partner in crime?"

"This is Zach. He's a transfer from Wisconsin." Cameron answered me.

"Oh, you from da nort?"

"I'm from across the pond, love." The boy answered in a british accent. He, Cameron and the two other guys began laughing hysterically.

"Anyway," Cameron started. "I'll see you guys at the game later." The three boys nodded then went back down the school halls as Cameron linked his arm in mine and lead the way outside to his car.

"So Sage, how was your first day of high school? Was it everything you ever imagined?" He said filled with fake enthusiasm.

"I actually loved it." I said and he scoffed. "I'm serious! I had a lot of fun and the classes were so interesting."

"Was there a Marcel spotting today?" Cam asked.

"Of course that's all you would care about! Geez, Cameron."

"So that means there was... What happened? I want every detail." Cameron walked over to the passenger side door of his Hellcat and opened it for me, walking over to the driver's side soon after. When he took his seat and buckled up, he turned towards me and raised his eyebrows.

"What?" I questioned.

"I'm not starting the car until you begin telling me about the interaction. Go."

"You're ridiculous. Why do you even care?"

"Because it's extremely entertaining to hear about and or watch."

"Fine." I said and I told him about how I got lost in the halls and after five minutes of walking in circles Mrs. Nelson sent Marcel to bring me to class. I decided to leave out the part with him kissing my hand in the hallway, only because I knew he would blow it way out of proportion. He would probably tell Cassie, who would tell the whole school that I was kissing a senior on my first day of high school. No thanks.

"Phase one complete." Cameron said in a monotone voice. "Phase to in action. Marcel will fall for you before the end of the year." To this I bursted out laughing. Cameron how ever stupid he can be sometimes always knew how to put a smile on my face.

"Sure... Enough about me, what about you Cam? Did you enjoy reuniting with your friends?"

"It was nice being back with the guys." He paused for a second before looking in my eyes and saying. "But don't worry. You'll always be my favorite."

"And why am I your favorite?" I asked him fishing for any compliments he would give me.

"The guys don't have boobs, so you win by default." I gasped. "And I suppose you might have some redeeming qualities." At this and hit him hard in the shoulder.

"Hey, don't hit the driver while the car is in motion. It's dangerous." He defended.

"Fine. Have it your way Cam... I'll just hit you when we get to your house." I told him, showing the loop hole to his point.

The rest of the drive was filled with the comfortable silence between us.When we finally got to Cam's place I quickly grabbed my backpack and rushed to the front door waiting for Cameron to open it.

"God Cameron! Could you walk any slower?" I said impatiently.

"Yeah, I think I can Sage. Want to see it." And when I thought that he couldn't move any slower somehow he managed that too.

"Fine. See you inside." With that I raced around the house to where the patio laid. Kneeling down I stuck my hand under the canopy table and grabbed the spare key. I unlocked the door quickly and slipped inside, locking it behind me. When I turned around, Cameron's maid, Sarah, stood directly in front of me with a small grin on her lips.

"Hello there, Sage. How was your day, dear?"

"It was great." I said. At that moment, Cameron started pounding on the door saying, "Let me in!" But we both ignored him.

"How about I fetch you a snack."

"Sounds amazing! Thanks."

"Are you feeling like fruit or in  more of a cheese and crackers kind of mood?"

"Let's go with fruit." I replied giving her a smile. "Thank you Sarah."

"No problem Sage, it's what I'm here for."

"I feel like Cameron might disagree with you on that note." I told her.

Cameron spoke as he walked into the kitchen, "Cameron does disagree. Cameron thinks Sarah should only make food for Cameron and not strangers who steal his spare house key."

"Oh, cry me a river Cam. I'm no stranger. Infact I don't know why I have to get the spare house key. Why don't I just have my own?" I said raising an eyebrow at him.

"Touché, my friend."

"No, but really. Why don't I have a house key? You have my spare." I pushed.

"Is it really that important, Sage?" Cameron fought back.

"Yes! It is. If I was ever-"

"Let's just go upstairs. Okay?"

"Fine." I said reluctantly. " See you in a bit, Sarah."

"Have fun, dear. But not too much fun." With that I blushed and tried to avoid eye contact with Cameron. When the inevitable finally did come when I met Cameron's stare, there was a suggestive eyebrow raise and smirk involved.

"Cam if you don't wipe that smirk off your face there will be consequences." I said with a straight face in a monotone voice.

"What kind of consequences?" He asked, widening the infamous smirk.

"Let's just go."

"Yeah, let's go. Upstairs... to my room."

"Oh my God Cameron!" I yelled at him. He just continued up the stairs laughing as if nothing ever happened. Still yelling at him I screamed, "Cameron you can't just say stuff like that!"

"Why not? You always come to my room?" He asked playing innocent. "What did you think I was suggesting?"

"Don't you dare pretend like you don't know." I mumbled under breath. "You know exactly what you were suggesting."

"What did you say? I didn't quite catch that last part." At this I stuck my tongue out making a face and rolling my eyes."Anyway," Cameron said as he closed his bedroom door. "What should we start with for homework? Math? Maybe you could help me with biology...?"

"I doesn't really matter to me, Cam. But I need to be home by five."

"Whatever. Math first."

We worked on our math homework - well, Cameron's math homework, I finished mine in class - for about twenty minutes until Cameron decided to bring me home so he could get ready for the big lacrosse game tonight.
