Chapter 2: Chang and Lee

[Sawyer's POV]

We drove and drove. I kept thinking about what would of happened to me if I stayed.

Sawyer: I'm going back.

Joey: Sawyer! You're crazy! They won't care if you're a youtuber, they'll take you straight to jail! Think about it Sawyer. If you go back, you're dead.

I thought about what Joey was saying, then I remembered..

Sawyer: Oh no!

Joey: Sawyer If this is about the groceries, we've been over this..

Sawyer: No! Hitch is still at my house! I need to go back for him.

Joey: You're going back for you're dog? Come on Sawyer this is ser-

[Joey's POV]

He gave me a stare so harsh I lost feeling in my whole body.

Sawyer: We're going back for him wether you like it or not.

Joey: *Whispers* You're funeral.

It took about twenty minutes but we made it back to Sawyer's place. He went in and came out fast. He was cleaned up with a new pair of clothing. In his hands was Hitch.

Joey: I guess it's safe to say you'd take a bullet for Hitch.

Sawyer: I probably would.

I couldn't help but laugh.

[Sawyer's POV]

Why was he laughing at me? It's true.

I was about to slap Joey across the face to make him stop when I noticed a cop car pull up next to us.

Joey: Shit Sawyer! We're screwed! What now what now!?

Sawyer: Shut up Joey! I got this!

Cop comes over to my side of the door.

Sawyer: Hello there officer, how's life?

Cop: Enough. There was a murder committed today by a, "Whole Foods." I'm looking for the bastard who committed it. Did any of you happen to witness it?

Sawyer: No sir, we haven't seen any murders. It's a pretty safe place here.

Cop: I thought so too..

Joey couldn't look the cop in the eyes, and I think the officer noticed.

Cop: What's uh, his name?

Sawyer: Him? Oh uh, His names..

Cop: Cough it up maggot.

Sawyer: his names Bono, Chang Bono.

Cop: Chang Bono.

[Joey's POV]

I wanted to slap Sawyer on his big head. Chang Bono? Really?

Joey(Chang): Hello there..

Cop: Do you have anything to say about the murder?

Joey(Chang): No, no officer I don't.

Cop: Are you sure about that?

Joey(Chang): Yes, yes officer.

Cop: Both of you, Chang aaand..

Joey(Chang): Gumbi, his names Lee Gumbi.

[Sawyer's POV]

I could see he wanted to get back at me, and it was working.

Sawyer(Lee): yes, my names....Lee Gumbi.

Cop: Chang and Lee, step out of the vehicle.

We were halfway out when another cop showed up.

The cop that had started a very awkward conversation with us walked over to him and started talking to him.

Sawyer: This is our chance, Chang Bono.

Joey: Whenever you're ready, Lee Gumbi.

We both jumped in the car and drove off. The officers yelled and got in there cars, but they were to late. We were already gone.
