[ Joey's POV ]

Arms flailing, legs pounding, I ran after Hitch. Suddenly, Hitch hurled himself over a cliff of rocks.

Joey: Hitch! NO!

I ran over to the boulder like rocks. I dug my feet into the sides and looked down. I felt stupid, it wasn't a cliff, it was just a miniature ledge. I stepped down to see Hitch nudging at something.

Joey: Oh no.

I ran to his side. There, shoulder bloody, body numb, lay Sawyer.

Joey: Sawyer! Wake up, please!

I picked his head up. I stared at his motionless body. He was drenched in ocean water. I looked up to notice a railing. He must have fallen into the water from way up there.

Joey: But, how...

I was confused at how he was at the edge of the water. I observed the scene, nobody. I grinned at Hitch.

Joey: could, could you have pulled him out?

Hitched stared straight at me. His face didn't do much, except Derp. We didn't look away from eachother.

???: for fucks sake, I fished him out.

My face turned red. I looked around, nobody.

???: Up here, wow you need some glasses, ya know what I'm sayin?

I looked over at the pier.

Joey: SHANE!

There stood Shane, his hair was curled and long.

Shane: what up biiiiiiiiiitch!

I gently set Sawyer's head down and sprinted towards Shane. He held his arms out, I ignored them. I jumped onto him and wrapped my arms around him.

Shane: Whoah, I have a girlfriend.

Joey: hahahaha, my god Shane.

I remembered what Sawyer had told me a while ago.

Joey: wait, but, you died...

Shane: I'm Shane Dawson, I don't die that easily.

He opened up his buttoned shirt. There was a small indent.

Joey: He missed your heart.

Shane: Barely, but missed, yes.

Joey: I'm sorry.

Shane: for what?

Joey: For everything. Sawyer and I dragged you into this, and you almost died.

Shane: I almost die a lot. It's part of being Shane.

I laughed for a few minutes.

Joey: Also, Sawyer mentioned something about a burial, how..

Shane: Let's just say, Sawyer probably won't ever get a job as an undertaker.

I was about to speak when.

Sawyer: Hey, *cough* I try my best.

I turned around. Sawyer sat there, head up, and a smile on his face.

Joey: Sawyer!!

I ran over to him and gave him a huge hug.

Sawyer: Ouch! Easy! I still have a bullet in my shoulder, remember?

Joey: Oops, I forgot.

Shane: Sawyer, what happened?

Sawyer: I was admiring the ocean, then I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder. That's about all I remember.
