Chapter 5: It Started with a Smoothie

[Sawyer's POV]

Sawyer: You have got to be kidding me. Look at me! I look like a bald eagle!

Sam: Shut up! You came to me!

I could see Joey laughing. I gave a small smirk.

Sawyer: Hey Joey.

Joey stopped laughing and looked over.

Joey: Yeah?

Sawyer: It's you're turn.

Ten minutes past and Sam kept cutting.

Sam: Done!

[Joey's POV]

Joey: Shoooot girl, not half bad! But I'm still going to miss my old hair.

Sawyer: You like it? *Whispers* Damn.

Joey: What?

Sawyer: Nothing.

Sam: ok guys now some new clothes.

An hour later Sam came out with a whole load of clothing.

Sam: Go ahead.

[Sawyer's POV]

I found a plain white tee and some brown shorts. He didn't have hard though, grrr.

[Joey's POV]

I found a button up floral patterned shirt with the collar popped. Luckily Sam had a pair of skinny jeans.

Joey: Yeessssss skinny jeans!

Sam: Ok guys, to Venice Beach!

Joey & Sawyer: To Venice Beach!

[Sawyer's POV]

I grabbed Hitch and stuck him in Sam's house, then we where off.

Venice beach was bright. Light where hung by the trees. The music was roaring loud and I couldn't hear what Sam was saying.

Sam: Ok guys! We stay together do you und-

Just then Sam noticed a fine looking lady and left Joey and me alone.

Joey: Sam! Sam come back! Ugh.

Sawyer: Just stick together.

[Joey's POV]

I couldn't help but squint and hold my ears. Everything was so bright and loud. I noticed a smoothie stand and grabbed Sawyer's arm.

Joey: Sawyer! I haven't had a smoothie in forever! How about it?

Sawyer: Fine.

Joey: how much money do you have?

Sawyer: About $20.

Joey: I have $72.

[Sawyer's POV]

I didn't really want a smoothie, but why not.

We walked over and bought some smoothies. We thanked the vender ad walked away. I turned around only to run into somebody.

???: Hello.

Sawyer: Hello.

It was a girl. She was very pretty and I could stop looking into her eyes.

???: Are you ok?

Sawyer: Yeah sorry about that. Um, what's you're name?

???: Mandy.

Sawyer: Mandy, that's a pretty name.

Mandy: Thanks.

Sawyer: do you want to, dance?

Mandy: *Giggles* sure.

[Joey's POV]

Ugh first Sam and now Sawyer? Everyone was gone and I was left alone in the crowd of people. I dropped my smoothie in rage and went to look for Sawyer.

Joey: Sawyer! Sawyer!

It was pointless, the music was too loud.

[Sawyer's POV]

We were dancing wildly when the song suddenly changed to a slow song. I held on to her hips and she put her arms on my shoulders.

Mandy: So what brings you to Venice Beach?

Sawyer: Oh, I uh. Just visiting.

Mandy: Are you sure?

Sawyer: Yeah, why do you ask?

[Joey's POV]

I pushed my way through people while screeching Sawyer's name. I was getting pretty dizzy from all the people surrounding me. I didn't feel good.

[Sawyer's POV]

What was she thinking? Did she know what I had done?

Mandy: I think there's another reason..

Sawyer: What reason?

[Joey's POV]

I couldn't keep walking, I tried but I was losing balance.

[Sawyer's POV]

Mandy: I think you did something.

Sawyer: I don't know what you're talking about.

I tried to back away but se had a strong grip on my neck.

Mandy: What if I told you, that I'm a police officer. And I witnessed you murder a man?

I exploded inside. My heart started beating really fast. Her grip got stronger.

Mandy: You're under arrest.

[Sam's POV]

I found Sawyer after minutes of walking around. I was about to yell for him to come over wen I noticed te girl he was dancing with pull out a taser, then Sawyer was out.

Sam: Sawyer!

[Joey's POV]

I finally made it to Sawyer, my eye's were half shut. I heard a loud zap ring in my ears. I saw Sawyer fall to the ground, and I couldn't help but do the same
