Michael's POV
All I can do is stare at her unconscious body in my arms, Ashton is calling 911, and Luke is down in the lobby waiting for them. She's alive, I can feel little puffs of air on my Palm if I hold it in front of her mouth.
My hand is stroking her hair and my tears are staining her porcelain pale face.
My mind is racing, I should've held her tighter.
I should've told her how I feel, I know the boys noticed the way I clenched my fists whenever she touched one of them.
I always felt the need to protect her from them, they're all greedy assholes who only want sex, even Ashton.
This is what he does with girls, he treats them like he loves them until he gets bored and then he drops them, always.
Sirens sound from outside and minutes later paramedics burst through the door, rushing over to me and taking Adrielle from me, barely acknowledging me. One of them stepping on my foot, not that I care or noticed.
Once they have her on the stretcher they proceed to rush her out to the ambulance, I run after them, not willing to let Adrielle out of my sight.
By the time I get out the ambulance, Luke is already inside with her, the doors closing quickly.
Knowing that I won't be able to get in with her I dig through my pockets and find the keys to the rental car. Ashton is getting Calum up and dressed so I have to wait for them, not wanting to have to come back later, also knowing they wouldn't appreciate it.
"Hurry the fuck up." I growl into the phone clenched tightly in my hands.
"Calum Thomas Hood, please pit on your fucking pants, Michael is downstairs waiting to go see the fucking princess." Ashton speaks.
"Don't fucking call her that, I dot hear you talking shit about Calum for being a stupid fuck and trying to kill himself." I practically shout, gaining glares from around the the lobby.
"Good job, Calum, now fucking put on your shirt...oh fuck it, just give it here, dumbass." I hear the one sided dialogue from the other line, not because I can't hear Calum, but because he refuses to speak.
"I'm gonna leave." I threaten pacing back and forth.
"Calum, talk to Mikey while I tie your goddamn shoes."
"Hi Calpal, what's up man?"
No response.
"C'mon Cal, just talk to me. Fuck say something." I groan.
"Okay Cal, let's go, you're finally uh presentable?" Ashton says that more as a question then a response before hanging up.

"We're here for Adrielle Laurel." I tell the receptionist once we get to the hospital.
"Room 125, down the hall to the left." She smiles sweetly and points towards the hall with a sign reading 'emergency'
"Thank you." I mumble before taking off towards the door, throwing it open and racing down the hall.
Ashton knocks on the door and we hear a quiet 'come in.'
We enter the room and find Adri hooked up to tube and machines much like Calum was just a few days ago.
"She's not waking up, the doctors aren't sure what's gonna happen yet." Luke says voice shaking a bit.
"We have to leave tomorrow...the fans are counting on us." Ashton mumbles.
"Shut the fuck up Ashton, do you even care about her?" I raise my voice, "Plus it's not like Calum will say shit anyway so what's the point." The room falls silent and the only noise is the constant beep from the heart monitor. Adrielle's eyelids flutter, and I wonder what she's dreaming about. It's a long fucking wait, extremely long before the nurse in pink scrubs enters the room to tell us to leave the room because visiting hours are over. I try to fight and tell her I need to stay with Adrielle, but it's no use.
"Michael, I know it's going to be hard to leave her here, but we really have to go." Luke calls as he opens the door to leave. I feel hot tears run down my face. This can't be fucking happening. No.
What the fuck? Will we have to leave her? Or can we stay? I can't fucking do this right now...
3 days later
Adrielle is being released from the hospital today. I don't know how she'll react around the boys. I had to talk Luke and Ashton into staying, so that we could make sure that she fully recovered, it was hard but I managed to make them do it. She's lost a lot of weight, she's pale, and barely has that spark in her eyes. She says she's okay, but it's so clear that inside she's broken and afriad of what's to come next.
Can I really blame her?
It's not her fault. It's this stupid 'job' we have set up for her. It was a dumb idea, if I had never suggested a 'sex buddy' for the road, this whole thing would have never happened. This is my fault.
Mine.

"Adrielle, are you alright?" Luke walks her to the elevator. She doesn't respond, she only looks up from the floor for a split second. It's silent, the hotel closed all of the doors and we checked in using false names. We finally reach the top floor, and Ashton offers to take Adri, which then again doesn't reply to. She just slowly walks into her room, and closes the door. Calum pulls me back to the elevator.
"We can't stay with her," he whispers.
"Why the fuck do you mean?"
"She's nothing but work. It's bad for our reputation, we shouldn't be fucking spotted coming out of the mental ward part of the hospital!" He hisses.
"I'm sorry, but we had to do the same thing with you, Calum fuck off!" My jaw clenches.
"This is fucking ridiculous! Ashton and I talked it over last night. We only need Luke. It's a fight well won, Michael. She needs to go. Now." His face lightens, and his eyes travels to the floor. I turn around to see Adrielle in the doorway of her room, tears threatening to spill. "Adrielle, I'm sorry." Calum says quietly.
"No," She's sniffles and kills me inside seeing her like this, "It's fine. You know why? Because I don't need your fucking vote. I'm leaving. Tonight."
