You looked away bashfully as the couple made their way to your table. 'Why do they have to look so good together? ' You thought gripping the rim of your silver dress.
Karkats gaze was centered on you. He thought you looked so dazzling in your dress. It seemed to shimmer like your beautiful (E/C) Irises.
Both of you blushed as you both watched many couples get up and seemingly float to the dancefloor.
"Miss Leijon would you honor me in a dance?" Eridan asked wiggling his eyebrows.
'Ouch, that stung.' You thought as you watched Eridan and Nepeta walk to the dancefloor.
"So, um now that you're alone." Karkat looked around nervously rubbing the back of his neck.
"Well your fiance kind of just stole my date." You muttered. Your heart was hurting. 'I should've stayed home.' You thought sadly.
Karkat laughed nervously. "Well, would you like to dance anyways?"
