Soarin and Rainbow got inside and sat down the living room couch and so did Firefly and Blaze.

Rainbow Blaze stared intimidatingly at Soarin, while Soarin is shaking nervously at his stare.

Rainbow dash glared at her dad to quit it, which he got the message well.

"Miss Firefly? The dinner is ready! Where are the-Oh! Big bro! Looks like-oh, ok. I'll just wait here with Lightning...ahe heh heh..." Sapphire called out to Firefly then observed the situation and decided not to disturb the tensing air around them.

"So...your my daughter's COLTfriend, Soarin Skies. You're the brother of my nephew's marefriend, Sapphire Skies. " Blaze said in a deep and serious tone.

Soarin gulped,"Y-yes, s-sir, I am."

Sapphire and Lightning Swift peeked out from the kitchen, observing the whole scenario.

"Gosh, Uncle Blaze has been putting a lot pressure on Soarin." Lightning's voice is really worried yet he find the scene quite amusing.

"Lightning! Anyways, Yea, I WAS about to laugh or giggle about it, but I figured it would be a bad idea. So, Lights, wanna break the ice?" Saph pointed to the situation and Lightning nod in response.

"Aunt Firefly! Uncle Blaze! Cousin Dash! Soarin! Food's waiting!" Lightning called the ponies in the living room. Once they entered Soarin whispered to Lightning, "Thanks dude, I owe you." Lightning smiled joyfully as his future-brother-in-law is starting to like him.

The dinner is a bit awkward if it wasn't for Blaze's psyched stare at Soarin. Dash cleared her throat, "So, mom, dad, how have you've been these past months?" She smiled at her parents.

"Oh, the usual, Business and all that jazz, but gladly, we're doing fine. I'm so excited when Lightning introduced us his marefriend. And Soarin dear, your sister is really lovely and quite adorable! But let's not talk about us, let's talk about you and Soarin, Dashie. How did you two got together? And what did change your mind in not having a coltfriend Dashie? Are you taking my advice? How old is Soarin? How-"

"Mom!" Rainbow Dash fumed in embarrassment.

Rainbow then decides to tell them anyways. As she tells them the whole story, Firefly and Sapphire squealed in every cute moment they both have. Right at the end, both mares almost want to sequel so hard and flip the table then burst into the air like fireworks.

"Oh dear, I know you write adventure stories, but can you write a romance one? This time, covering their story!" Firefly pouted at Blaze. Blaze averted his gaze to resist her cute puppy eyed look. Then after pouting for seconds, she punched her husband,"Honey, you're such a killjoy." Sapphire and Lightning laughed. Even Soarin did.

"Soarin may I talk with you in private?" Blaze's sudden words cut the laughter in the whole dining room and replaced it by a cold silence.

Blaze led Soarin outside and sat on a cloud.

"Look, I have to be really honest with you Soarin, I'm a little bit against your relationship with my daughter, since...well, Stratus of course, but a part of me wants to give you a chance to prove that you really deserve my daughter's love, so..." Soarin's hopes suddenly filled up.

"So...?"

"I'll follow my conscience. I'll try to accept you, maybe as my own son." He patted Soarin's shoulder and smiled at Soarin genuinely. Soarin immediately smiled back, which is a sign of relief.

"I'll promise to love her honestly, I'll stay loyal to her as she stays loyal to me, to our love, I will never hurt her and I will always stay by her side. I know it sounds cheesy Sir, but I do believe that if you truly love someone, you're not just gonna say it, but do it."

When they got back, Rainbow excused Soarin for a stroll.

"So...how'd it go?" She asked him.

"He said he'll try to accept me as his own son. Can you believe it? Your dad likes me!" He smiled cheerfully.

"I told you, if you're being yourself, he'll accept you, just the way you are. That's the reason why I love you so much Honey pie..." She leaned on Soarin's shoulder and Soarin did the same.

"You too. You, being your usual boyish attitude, laziness, but have a loyal heart...that's the reason why'd I've fallen for somepony like you Sweetie pie...I love you too..." He then leaned over to kiss Rainbow and their lips met, sharing a very slow, but passionate, romantic kiss.

"You know what Honey?" Firefly smiled at Blaze.

"What?" He also smiled.

"They reminded me of us when we're still at their age. I'm just so happy that our own boyish, lazy, sarcastic daughter has found somepony who really loves her, and stays loyal to their love. I wish they would stay like that for a long time..." Firefly kissed her husband.

Sapphire and Lightning watched the two couples kissing and smiled with awe.

"Awww...so many happy endings...It makes me swoon a lot." Sapphire leaned on Lightning.

"Hey Saph?"

"Hmmm?"

"I love you...and just like Soarin and cousin Dash, I'll always stay loyal to you, no matter what. I'll never even think about betraying you. And if you ever fall out of love for me...I'll make ways to make you fall again go me." Saph just giggled at his statement and smiled at him warmly.

"Heh, and if you're the one who falls out of live FOR me, I'll beat the hell outta you until you say you still love me. Just kidding!" For a moment Lightning thought she was serious but he sighed with relief when she was only joking.

"But seriously, I'll do whatever it takes to make you love me again, anything. Because, you're one of the ponies I love the most truly and honestly." She skissed his cheek and slept quietly by the fireplace.

"If you truly love someone, you're not just gonna say it, but do it."
