7 Hours

I really wanted peace and quiet, at least for a little bit. But that wasn't the plan apparently.

I traveled into the Great Hall, Percy and Annabeth at my sides.

"I still can't believe he's gone," I sniffed, thinking about Grover.

"It has only been two minutes," Percy sniffled.

I was glad to see that Annabeth and Percy were crying along side me, because it made me feel like I was normal. And we all know that I am anything but normal.

Grover's body had already decomposed into the Earth. I came to the harsh realization that along with him being gone...

"There's no Lord of the Wild," I quietly muttered.

The three of us were silent as we opened the charred  door. When we entered, there was a spew of bodies. People were dead.

I saw a clump of red hair in the far corner of the Great Hall.

Grabbing Percy and Annabeth's hands, I brought them over to the Weasley's, Harry and Hermione.

"What's up with you, Adele? You look... Almost as if you just fought monsters," Moony told me.

I collapsed and cried. Never in my seventeen years of life have I been this terrified, this sad, and this angry. Why did this have to happen to me?

"Are you okay?" George's voice rang through my ears.

"No, no, I'm not," I told him, honestly.

Annabeth crouched down by me and hugged me.

"Everything's gone down hill," I sobbed, my breathing becoming unsteady.

My gray eyes looked around for my godbrother. Where was Harry Potter? My eyes finally landed on the boy. He made his way over to me once he saw the look I gave him.

"Harry James Potter," I began to command him as I got up off of the ground. "You better kill Voldieshorts, because let me tell you right now, I am done with all of his shit."

There was a sudden applause all around the Great Hall; apparently I was talking so loudly every single living person in there heard me.

Even Professor McGonagall gave a holler of approval.

Wow! I am so sorry for not updating for a little over a month!

How did you guys like it? I know it was short, and I am truly sorry about that.

Anyway, if you guys didn't figure out whose life I swapped for Grover's life, I guess I will tell you.

I swapped out Grover for Colin Creevey. It was hard for me to write Grover's death scene, but I made it through.

I guess the death of Grover symbolized how the Earth is loosing it's flare. There's so many wars, fighting over oil, and everything. One of these days, it's all going to run out.

Wow, I sound like a nature-person. Moving on...

So the next chapter will be out soon.
