The next morning I was awakened by my alarm clock at 8:30. I woke up and tried to find something to wear to work. I decided on khaki shorts, navy blue vans, and my Navy blue Hollister staff shirt. I wore light mascara and eyeliner I put on my favorite pink lip gloss. I left the house at 10:00. The mall was on the other side of town and I had to be there my 10:45.
I basically cut everybody off in traffic and sped to work. I made it at 10:40. My co -worker Dharma was stocking shirts and skirts. I went to the back and clocked in. I was happy that the store was pretty empty. So I sat at the register and reorganized the glasses rack. Expensive at the top cheap at the bottom.
I had been at work for almost a hour and the whole day we only got like 2 customers. Then as soon as I was about to take my hour lunch break this whole crew of boys walked in the store. "Welcome to Hollister! My name is Mckenzie and I'm here if you need any help.!", I said in a perky tone. The boys didn't say anything so I rolled my eyes and went back to organizing my check out counter. All of a sudden I felt a finger lift up my face by my chin.
I was about to go off. Then I started blushing when I looked up and saw it was Cam. "I hope I didn't scare you Miss.Mckenzie, but I wanted to know if I could get some help. He said in a low sexy voice then he licked his lips and smirked while he bit his lower lip. I almost melted behind my counter. I walked out of my counter and said, "what did you need help with?" I said as I noticed him looking at my uniform. "I wanted your advice on buying a shirt for a really pretty girl." He said biting his lip again. I was getting weak in the knees.
I led him over to the women's section. I showed him the newest shirt we just got today. It was pink and white stripped with Hollister going vertical in purple. He bought the shirt and then he asked me when my lunch break was. "well it started 30 minutes ago but you and your crew came in. So I have 30 more minutes.", I said with a smirk.
He waited on me to clock out then he walked me to the food court. I bought some fries and a slushy. He held my hand while I was waiting on my food. I didn't even notice because it seemed so natural. Like it was meant to be.
We sat down in a booth and he smiled and said, "so how has work been?" "It's been pretty boring. It's been pretty slow. I reorganized my counter 5 times today." I said. He laughed. Then it seemed like he got serious. He looked me in my eyes and said, "I got you something ma." I started blushing. He pulled up that Hollister bag from earlier and pulled out the shirt.
"I hope you like it. I got some advice from this lady at Hollister today." He said laughing. I reached over the table and hugged him and said thank you. Then all of a sudden I leaned in and kissed him. He kissed me back then we pulled away. My cheeks were red and hot. He whispered, "you're welcome."
