Xete's POV.
As soon as the knight came to report to me, I told him to stop following her. But thank heavens I haven't told him that before this incident happened. I wanted to kill that low life and bring her to justice for what she did. I'm going to visit that scoundrel and let her know how it feels to drown into her death. If something happened to Sena, I won't let her live and I'll torture her whole family if I could.
Thanks to her, Sena has been sick and no one was allowed to go inside her chambers. I'm already sick from not seeing her, there's nothing worst than that.
I have decided that Im going to see the person that had pushed her into that lake. I rode Nika even though I don't have Sena's permission but Nika has grown to like me. So she's comfortable with me riding her. I saw a girl swimming on the lake. She saw me coming, and jumped out of the water and began to put her clothes on.
"Did Sena sent you?" She smiled.
"No, are you demented!" I shouted at her.
"What did I do?" She asked innocently like she didnt know what she has done.
"You pushed her into the water and she almost drowned and now she's sick! Because of you!" I yelled.
"Did she tell you that?" She said in disappointment.
"No, and nobody cares who told me!" I yelled and pulled out a dagger.
"Woaah!" she backed away and continued talking, "Before you do that. You don't know the whole story. You should ask her first."
"How can I ask her if she doesn't even want to see me?!" I yelled but I got weak and a tear fell down from my face.
"It figures," she wiped her forehead and sighed in relieve. "You are the princess. The girl she was with in that carnival. You're really lucky but you somewhat destroyed that opportunity."
"What are you saying?" I asked curiously.
She shrugged and walked away.
"Don't you dare walk out or I'll slid this dagger to your throath!" I threatened her but I know I wouldn't really do that.
"Slow down. No wonder why.." She said and continued walking away.
"No wonder what?!"
Sh just answered "Nothing."
I ran up to her, "Say it!"
"I don't talk to strangers. Especially if you're constantly yelling at me and beside, you don't have any authority over me. Maybe you should try harder to talk to her," she said bitterly.
"You're coming with me. Aren't you her slave no?"
"No, not yet and we don't use the term "slaves" here. Where did you even come from. I don't trust the people who acts like that," she harshly said.
"Trust?" I laughed, "you pushed her in the lake!"
"I might have pushed her but I know someone that she doesn't trust anymore. I mean how can she have the strength to forgive you when all you've done is lie to her," she stared at me like she was about to rip my soul away.
I locked myself in my room for days. I kept on thinking what she meant; she made me reflect on my attitude and myself. I haven't been thinking before I speak to others that I crossed so much lines. For the past few years, all I've done is hurt people that I love. I need to fix this. But by now, my only way of that is to wait and hope for the better.
I went outside to search for Sena and I wish that this time she'll listen to me. Everyone deserves a second chance, I'm just a human being. Well, it would be discouraging if I found out now that I'm not one. Oh my sense of humour. I heard Sena at the courtyard talking to someone. I peek to see who it is. I immediately bowed down. Its that girl. I would kill her if she tells Sena what I did.
