My Deep Dark Love

chapter seven

He loves me, I thought to myself. Well I guess I already knew it, but hearing him say it is different. Knowing someone loves you is a good feeling but when they actually tell you it makes you feel different.

Like you're everything he has worked for. I pulled away from Niall and looked into his eyes. He looked back at me with his blue eyes. I smiled at him and he smiled back. Then four pairs of arms wrapped around us.

I looked around to see that Harry, Louis, Liam and Zayn had joined in. We all separated and stood up. It felt different standing, almost like I was floating. I feel weightless. I took a couple steps around the room and stopped in front of the mirror again.

I looked myself up and down. I looked different but yet still the same. All of my features are more defined my hair is lighter and longer and I have red eyes. Not a fan on the red eyes its kind of scary.

"They won't last long" Harry said clearly reading my thoughts.

"Will they change colour or still be the same colour as before?" I asked hoping they wouldn't change colour.

"They will go back to your original eye colour" Louis said.

"Are you hungry?" Niall asked.

"Now that you mentioned it, yeah" I said.

"Come on then" He said taking my hand.

"Wait, do I have to um-" I trailed off afraid of the answer.

"Yes you will drink blood" Louis said laughing.

I shuddered at the thought but yet it sounded good. I followed Niall out of the house and we walked down a trail.

"Run" He said before taking off deeper into the forest.

I started running trying to catch up to him. I took the time to look around as I was running. I would expect everything to be blurry but I said everything perfectly. All the colours are more vivid and everything looks so perfect.

Almost like it was photo shopped. I caught up to Niall and continued to run beside him while still looking around the forest. I could hear birds from far away and animals running across the ground.

Then Niall stopped and I stopped beside him. I looked at him and he pointed ahead. I looked to see two hikers sitting on a fallen tree.

"But they are humans" I said not wanting to have to kill them.

"Addi, its what we do" He said looking at the ground ashamed.

"I'm sorry" I said to him.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in and started to run towards them. I was about to grab one when I realised who they were. Ethan and Scarlett. I turned around to see Niall running towards them.

I lunged at him before he could get to them. We fell to the ground and he looked at me confused.

"Addison? Is that you?" I heard Scarlett say. I stood up and faced her.

Her mouth dropped open as she looked at me. I nodded my head yes then grabbed Niall's hand and pulled him away and started to run. After a couple minutes I stopped and sat down and covered my face with my hands.

"Addison?" Niall said and he bent down in front of me.

"I almost killed my sister and her boyfriend!" I shouted as I started to feel tears slide down my cheeks.

"But you didn't, that was quite amazing how you stopped yourself most vampires don't have to restraint to do that" He said sympathetically.

"It doesn't matter! I'm a monster" I yelled at him causing him to flinch. Hurt flashed across his face as I realised what I actually just said.
