My Deep Dark Love

chapter eight

"He's what?" I stuttered.

"He is gone, we can't find him or even hear his thoughts" Harry said worried.

"It's my fault" I whispered looking at ground.

He left because of what I said. Calling myself a monster ment calling him a monster and it really hurt him.

"Actually it's mine" Zayn said walking into the room.

"How?" Liam asked as Zayn stood beside him.

"I told him he wasn't good enough for Addison and told him he should just leave and that he wasn't good enough for her"

"Why would you say that!" I yelled at Zayn.

"It doesn't matter" He muttered before walking out of the room.

I stood there shocked at what Zayn had just said. Why would he say that to Niall? I walked out of the room and followed Zayn's thoughts. He was sitting on his bed looking out the window.

I stood behind the door watching him. I didn't want him to know I was there. I decided if I want to know the truth.

'I shouldn't have said that to Niall. But I really do love Addison and I want her to be mine. I deserve her more then Niall, considering he also took Isobelle from me. No one knows me and Niall had a past and that Isobelle was involved.'

After that I turned around and ran to my room. Zayn loves me? And what about the past with Isobelle. I thought it was between Niall and Bennet, not Niall and Zayn. They are clearly hiding something.

I need to find Niall and get the truth from him. I stood up and walked down stairs to where the other three boys were.

"Did you find Zayn?" Louis asked?

"I didn't go looking for him" I lied smoothly trying to not think about what I had heard from Zayn's thoughts.

"Going somewhere?' Liam asked raiding an eyebrow at me.

"For a walk" I said walking past them and outside.

I started running in the woods not taking another look back at the house. I cleared my mind and focused on finding Niall's thoughts. I kept running through the woods not stopping or slowing down.

It felt like I had been running for only minutes but truth is its been over four hours and I still haven't found Niall. I started running faster desperate to find Niall. then I ran out of the woods and was standing in a large field.

Where am I ? I thought to myself. I looked around for a moment then seen a fence up ahead. I started running towards it. In a matter of seconds I was standing in front of the fence. An electric fence in the middle of a field?

I looked at the fence and seen a sign. I walked over to it and read it. The border to Canada? How far did I run. I took a couple steps back and ran towards the fence and jumped over the fence.

Once on the other side I started to run again trying to hear Niall's thoughts. Why am I looking in Canada for Niall? He shouldn't have came this far could he? I stopped for minute and listened.

I can hear someone's thoughts.

'I have to keep running. They can't find me or know where I am'

Niall. I started running towards the person. I jumped over another fence and seen a person running. I started to run faster and finally caught up to him. I lunged at him taking him to the ground. We landed on the ground with a loud thud as the breathe was pushed out of us.

I flipped him over and looked at him. Oh no, its not Niall.

"Uh sorry I thought you were someone else" I said rolling off of him.

"Who are you?" He said standing up and taking a couple steps away from me.

"My name is Addison and I'm trying to find my friend" I said cautiously.

"I'm Austin" He said relaxing.

"What were your thoughts about?" I asked wondering why he was running away from someone.

"A group of vampires is trying to find me" He said.

"Why?"

"Because I was in their group and I left them and I know their secrets"

"What group of vampires?"

"The original"

"That's worse then I thought" I said walking towards him.

"Yeah"

"If you come with me I could help you" I said reaching out to touch his shoulder.

"Really?"

"Yes" I smiled at him.

"First I need your help with finding my friend"

"I go one way you go the other?"

"Meet here in four hours" I said before we both ran in different directions.

Well I most likely should have told him what Niall looks like.

'Niall Horan'

'yes'

Good thing we can read minds. I kept running trying to cover as much ground as I could. Two hours as past so I started to run back to where I met Austin.

I got back to see him standing there looking upset.

"What's wrong Austin?"

"I was hoping to find him because you're helping me so I feel like I have to help you, and I can tell this is important to you"

"It's fine, lets just go back to my house"

We started running towards my house and got back just before dark.

"This place is huge" Austin said looking at the house.

I opened the door and walked inside. Louis, Liam and Harry were in the living room and looked at me when they seen Austin.

"This is Austin" I said.

"Um why is he here?" Harry asked.

"He is running from the original vampires and I said we could help him"

"Addi, you realise if they find him here they will kill us all!" Louis shouted causing my and Austin to flinched.

"I never thought of that" I said looking at the ground.

"Just take him to a room" Louis said walking out of the room.

I looked at the others and they just gave me blank looks. I grabbed Austin's hand and brought him upstairs to a room beside mine.

"Should I just leave?" Austin asked sitting on the bed.

"No, it's fine"

"Are you sure?"

"They are just a little tense that Niall is gone"

"We should all go looking for him tomorrow" He said smiling.

I nodded my head and sat on the bed beside him. I looked at him when he was paying attention. He had blond hair, you could tell it was dyed because of his dark brown roots and he had brown eyes.

He was about the same height as Louis his hair was straight and it flipped perfectly to the side. He was really attractive to be honest.

"Like what you see?" He said laughing and pushing my shoulder.

"Ehh no?" I lied looking at the ground feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Well I'm going to my room, if you need me I'm beside you" I said standing up and walking out of his room and into mine.

"Embarrassing" I mumbled to myself before jumping onto my bed and falling asleep
