IF ONLY THEY KNEW

"FAT"
She starved herself
day after day
thinking only if
she could lose those
extra pounds,
she would be as
beautiful as the others.
"WIMP"
No,
those scars no one sees
are from lost battles --
his father beat him
once again.
New bruises every
week doesn't
mean he is weak.
"JERK"
He messes around
with all of those
girl to feel something
-- anything --
because he's starting
to believe that love
no longer exists.
"USELESS"
Yeah, she agrees.
That's why those
cuts that mark
deep into her skin
are there.
She belives she is
a waste of time
...and space.
Maybe if they knew,
they wouldn't be so cruel.
