SOMETHING ABOUT YOU

Maybe it's the way
your voice cracks
in the morning
or your deep brown
eyes that light up
when you get excited.
Maybe it's your smell
that still lingers
on my clothes,
or your
cheesy-but-funny
pickup lines,
or the way you
watch me while I'm
talking as you
try to memorize
every part of me.
(I have you
memorized, too.)
But something about you
-- I'm not quite sure what --
made me fall in love.
