Chapter Ten

We arrive at my apartment. I'm relieved that Mark came to me when I needed it.
"Thank you so much for saving me." I say with a smile.
"You're welcome." Before I went into my apartment, Mark speaks to me.
"Since you're here, maybe you can come over for awhile and stuff." Mark's checks begin to go red.
"Sure, I would love to." I drop my groceries at my place and head over to Mark's place. I sit on his couch and he sits next to me.
"I was out walking because I had just finished a video and wanted some fresh air. Luckily, I ran into you before anything else happened." He smiles gently at me, making my heart race.
"Yeah. Thank you."
"Like I said, I promised I would protect you."
"He might come back you know." Mark nods, but you know he'll protect you.
"So, what do you want to do?" Mark asks. I think and come up with an idea.
"Since we might hang out a lot in the future, we should talk about ourselves." Mark fixes his blue hair and nods.
"I'll go first." I say. We start to tell about ourselves and found out we have a lot in common with each other. Soon, it becomes ten at night. I start to yawn and so does Mark.
"I guess I should go home." I say while rubbing my eyes.
"Yeah." Mark gets up and stretches his muscular arms.
"Thanks for having me come over." I say while walking to the door.
"Thanks for coming over." We say our good byes and I head home.
