Saving Mark: Part Three

Chapter Twenty-Five

I stand up in shock. I'm really confused of how Jack survived.
"How...how is this possible?" Jack looks to me and looks down.
"Well, before the bomb went off, I found another exit. I escaped and found (f/n). She told me that Mark is being captive here. So I came here and heard Mark scream and came up here."
"And you couldn't tell me that you were alive because...?"
"I had to keep under cover incase Blake found out I was alive."
"Okay. I understand. And sorry for jumping on you. I thought you were Blake." My face reddens.
"It's okay. I would of thought I was Blake too." We both smile and help Mark.
"Thanks for saving me." Mark gets up slowly. He looks very weak and blood and cuts are all over his body.
"No. Don't thank me. I caused all of this to happen. And I..." I feel tears beginning to fall down my face. Mark walks over to me and hugs me.
"No. It's fine. Let's just all..." Before Mark finishes, I hear a gun shot.
"Well, well, well. Looks like the gangs all here." Blake walks over in the center of the room. Everything seems like it's frozen in time.
"Anyone does anything, I'll shoot any of you." I look over to Mark then Jack. Blake keeps talking.
"You think I wanted to do this? I wanted to be with someone that made me happy and now...it has gone to shit." I don't even move an inch. I'm to frighten by this.
"I wanted to be with you again,(y/n). But no, I was a bad influence to you and you couldn't let go of the pass." He turns around and now is my chance. I run towards him and kick him in the back. I tell Mark and Jack to follow me. I find a stair case leading up. We all go up as I hear footsteps coming. I get to the top and found out we're on the roof. Rain pours down as my heart drops to my stomach.
