erudite

"Evaluated for what?" I snapped. Why would erudite want to evaluate me? What do they want with me?

"Fours fear simulation results were a little abnormal. Our friends that came to visit our faction, will be observing another simulation to make sure that the abnormal result was an error in the simulation program. They wanted to see yours as well, since you and Four came from the same faction." My eyes cut down to Four. He got abnegation results but so did I.

"Amar will take you all to the fear simulation room now." I nod my head as we join erudite and walk to the fear simulation room. I hate being in that room. Amar and Four both know that.

Erudite would not be here for no reason. Obviously there's something wrong but no one will tell me. I'm sure four is as confused as I am. Jeanine and her assistant, I'm guessing, are the only people from erudite that are visiting us. Jeanine is the leader of erudite. Amar opens the door letting us all in.

"I'll go get the extra equipment so you can observe, I will be right back." He looks at us and walked.

"Your names are logged into the system as 'Four' and 'Jade', which I found perplexing. Why do you not go by Tobias and Daniella here?" She looks at us.

"I wanted a clean slate." Four replied.

"New faction new name." I mumbled.

"I can appreciate that. Especially given what you both have gone through."

"I'm fine." Four said coldly.

"We, are fine." I grit my teeth as Four looks at me.

"Course you are." She smiles.

"Jade, how are you liking it here in dauntless. Big change isn't it?" Jeanine asked as she walks around the room. Examining every inch of it.

"I take a great liking to it. It is a big change but a good one. Dauntless was the right choice for me. It feels like I really do belong here. Like they are my family and this is my home."

"I see." She smiles.

Amar wheels a carton to the room. It carries more wires, electroids, computer parts. I might as well get done first so I can meet up with Eric to train. I walk up to the chair sitting down gentle. Amar walks over to me and injects me with the needle as I close my eyes.

I wake up in the house that I used to live in. The grey abnegation dress clinging to my body. I was cutting up carrots in the kitchen as Samual walks inside the house. I glance over at him as he throws his books to the ground.

"What are you looking at?" He spat at me.

"Nothing." I replied shortly setting the knife down gentle on the cutting board.

"Liar. What have I told you about lying?" He rushes over grabbing my wrist and throwing me to the ground.

"I didn't lie. I promise." I shook with fear.

"Daniella why do you lie to me. That is two lies." He takes his belt off and wraps it around his hand. No. Please not this.

"Please. I'm not lying." He strikes down the belt not aiming in a certain place but only me. It hits my leg and then my arm as I block it. The sound of the belt hitting against my skin echoed throughout our tiny house. The pain spreads across my body. Its seems so real. I have to get out of this simulation.

"Liar!" He whips me hitting my shouldering causing me to cry out.

"Traitor!" He hits my face. Tears poured out of my eyes in pain. I can't take it. I run into the kitchen grabbing the knife holding it up in defense.

"What are you going to stab me?" He laughs stalking over to me.

"Don't make me!" I yell at him holding the metal dagger in my hands. Samual watches it vibrate in my hands.

"You wont do it." I close my eyes tight and throw the knife. Slowly open them, I could see the knife sticking out of my fathers body.

"Weak." He replies then falls to the ground as the blood spills out on to the wooden floor.

I wake up gasping for air. Heart rate monitor was going off crazily. I wipe the sweat off my face and look around the room. Trying to remember that it was just a simulation not real. Erudite was watching along with Amar and Four. Jeanine and her assistant look at me carefully as Amar walks up to me. I did not want to see him right now.

"Interesting." Jeanine mumbled to her self. Her assistant wrote something down on a notepad causing me to scowl at them both. I hope she is happy to see what I have been through. Hope she saw the flaw in the system. I am dauntless and there is no doubt about it.

"You did good." Four whispered. He doesn't look me in the eye as I stare him down.

"Great." I scoffed getting up off the chair as he sits down.

"Seems like there was an error in the system when you took your test Jade. You are dismissed, thank you for your time and your patience with us." I nod my head and walk out.

"What just happened?" I whispered to myself as I walk into the bunker plopped down on my bed.

Maybe they wanted something to do with us or maybe Four might be showing his abnegation side which caused someone to tell erudite. So they looked into his results. They saw he got abnegation but picked dauntless. But why would it matter to them? Because they are erudite and they thought it was an error in the system. So they did a background check on everyone from abnegation who got aptitude tested. They saw my abnegation result. That's why they tested me.

All this thinking was causing me to get a headache. I need sleep. My body feels weaker after that landscape. Hopefully that counts as practice for the day. I shut my eyes and tried to sleep but all I saw was that monster.
