Today was Thursday. This was the day when all visitors were allowed to enter the patients room, or roam freely unsupervised—if requested, with said patient. Liam did not particularly like Thursday's for a certain reason: no one ever bothered coming to visit Louis. Sure, his mother would send money and articles of clothing, maybe even a letter, but she had given up coming long after Louis forgot her. Which was around the same time Louis was admitted into the facility six years ago, when he was only sixteen.
Liam never bothered looking up Louis' illness because he was determined to help Louis remember what had happened to him. So far, it's been nearly five years of taking care of Louis, and Liam had gotten no where.
Right now, Liam was taking Louis for his morning walk.
Louis didn't quite enjoy leaving the comfort of his room, heck, he had no idea it was exactly his room, but something about it made him seem to want to stay cooped up in there.
Louis wasn't sure why he agreed to follow the strange man around the oddly bland building, but he recognized this nostalgia smell and felt something radiating off the man. So, he took the risk, and instead of having an episode—he quietly followed the man around until they entered some sort of cafeteria. Where other people dressed in the same grey slacks and loose grey t-shirt as Louis were all lined up. There were other people standing alongside some of them, who wore different articles of clothing. Louis didn't know what their purpose was, and he certainly wouldn't remember long enough to ask the man helping him.
"Are you hungry, Louis?"
Louis shook his head and continued to look around the room. He was confused. He didn't know who this 'Louis' person the man was referring to, and he was hoping he'd spot him somewhere around the cafeteria. Louis' eyes landed on a brunette with loose curls; he seemed to be dressed similar to Louis, but Louis couldn't tell since he was huddled up in the corner of the cafeteria with a strange blonde hovering over him. Something in Louis' body told him to walk over to the boy, and that's exactly what he did.
"Louis! Where are you going?"
