Louis wandered over to the two men he had previously noticed from across the cafeteria. His mind was sorting out different questions to ask, but each time he tried to compose a full question, his mind erased whatever he had been putting together. By the time Louis got over to the boy hunched over and the other male leaning over him; he had completely forgotten why he was even standing in front of them. He looked beyond lost.

The man wearing a uniform mirroring to the other man's from earlier seemed to notice Louis. He reluctantly stepped away from the shaking boy on the floor, only to have his leg yanked on. The boy was gripping onto the blonde's leg for dear life, and mumbled on and on about how the blonde couldn't possibly leave him.

"Are you alright?" the blonde asked Louis. He didn't really expect a response from Louis, seeing as Louis was staring off into space. The blonde tapped Louis' shoulder gently, and that's when Louis stumbled backwards in complete and utter fear. He remembered his mother leaving him in a room alone, and that was it. The blonde sighted, "Do you know where you are? This is the cafeteria."

The blonde tried to move closer to Louis, but couldn't, since the brunette with loose curly brown locks was latched onto him tightly.

Just then another male jogged over to Louis and the others. It was Liam—Louis just didn't know that.

"Sorry Niall. Louis wandered off again."

The blonde shook his head, "It's alright. I would've gotten him back to you but someone..." the blonde pointed downwards at the boy still clinging to him, "Won't let me move a muscle."

Liam grinned while shaking his head. He bent over just a bit to peer down at the brunette, "Harry, you okay down there? You can't keep giving Niall such a hard time buddy."

The well built male standing beside Louis seemed rather sincere. Louis glanced down at the boy, Harry, as well. There was something familiar about the boy, and when he quickly shot his head up—Louis could see both the beauty and fear in his captivating eyes. They were green, similar to green apples but not quite.

Then it clicked.

"Smalls!" Louis exclaimed.

If you haven't gotten the gist of things quite yet:

Each chapter will end with Louis remembering a small fraction of something/someone.

Sorry I haven't really updated this book. I'm going to do my best to try and make updates a bit more frequent.
