A danger of the night.

A few days after me and Gerard started dating, he became more protective, telling me to text him when I'm home or to call him if something bad has happened. It was after school and i walked home all by myself, Gee was sick so he wasn't in school, lucky bastard. As it was winter, it got very dark, very quickly, it was a long ass walk back home for me and i had a detention after school so it was pitch black with only the street lamps giving off light which was still really dim. I was nervous walking in the dark, it was New Jersey so it was worse. My phone kept beeping from my many many texts from Gee.

Messages:
Gee💜: hey there sugar, you okay? Are you home yet?xxxx

Me: hey gee, I'm fine and no I'm not home yet! Stop worrying about me. Xxxx

Gee💜: i am your boyfriend, its my job to worry when your walking home in the dark in Jersey. Xxxx

I was flattered, i really was but i was fine, my house was only another 20 minutes away so would be there soon right? As Sleeping with sirens boomed through my earphones I received another message from Gee.

Gee💜: thats it! Tell me where you are right now and i will get to you as fast as i can! Xxxx

Me: fine Gee, I'm round the corner from Belleville park. Xxxx

Gee💜: okay stay there and i will get there as fast i can! I love you! Xxxx

Me: i love you too Gee xxxx

I then entered the park and sat in the cold swing waiting for my knight in shining armour! I felt someone staring at the back of me, i heard the shrubs rustling and stood up and turned around hoping it was just Gerard trying to scare the living shit out of me! My heart was pounding i was shaking.
"Gee? Is that you?" I shouted and clutched my bag as hard i could, i felt someone put their hand over my mouth and felt something sharp touching my back. "Don't fucking move, or this goes straight through your stomach!" He whispered in my ear which made me start crying, i dropped my phone and i bit his hand causing him to let me go. He came running after me, i couldn't see his face, but when he grabbed me i screamed. "HELP ME!!" I then felt a sharp pain go through me, he stabbed me and he left me there to die. I was shaking and crying in pain holding my hand over the wound, i got dizzy but i saw a familiar face in front of mine...

Gerard's pov:
I was out in the dark, fearing for the life of Violet, she was the love of my life and i couldn't bare life if i lost her to the typical Jersey streets. I walked out of my house in my coat and ran towards the park, "HELP ME!" I heard a scream and recognised it as Violets! No no no! Please don't be hurt! I ran towards her, she was crying in pain and had a bloody hand held over her stomach, i lifted up her head and cried myself putting her head on my lap. "Shhh its okay sugar, im here..." She calmed down a bit and i called an ambulance, they told me to do anything to keep her awake and talking. I stroked her head and put an extra hand in her wound. I know, the song that she always sings along to. I whispered.. "Wake me up inside..." And she started singing...
"Wake me up inside, wake me up inside, save me." She stayed alive and the ambulance arrived, i stayed by her side the whole way to the hospital and we were both singing Wake me up inside and i held her hand until she had to go into surgery to stitch up the wound...
If she dies... I wasn't sure if i could live myself, she is the highlight of my life, she taught me to never give up...
