They arrive to the First Order's base, she knew they were there. Not from the way everyone was walking around, but by the sudden change in atmosphere, like... It was darker in a way. Probably was, she wouldn't know, she didn't know. She's never seen it before - but it must've been the thing that destroyed all those planets, the very thought of that made her heart clench up and a bile taste to reach her mouth. How could their base harness the power to do that?
Her eyes jerked to Kylo Ren as he stepped up, he tilted his head as he looked at Hope, still she was silent. But it looks could kill, Kylo would be dead ten times over and pulled apart until there was no such thing as his DNA. She hated this man, with every fiber of her being, and he could tell. Now he could, but he didn't care. He was stuck in the past where she actually cared for him, not exactly in the way he had cared for her... but... in a way it was like that.
Then his head tilted to Rey's unconscious form, he was deciding who he wanted to take. Hope curled her lips once more before he motioned to one of the stormtroopers that were waiting for his command, "Take her." He said, motioning to Rey, then he knelt down and started to undo Hope's restraints, she couldn't run even it she wanted to, he had... her lightsaber. As well as his own and there were still troopers around.
She was also going into an enemy base, there was no way she could take on all of them. Especially without a weapon, well... she did have her weapon. It just wasn't in her hands.
Hope reluctantly got to her feet when she felt Kylo tugging on her arm, his grip tightened slightly, but it wasn't a crushing grip. Neither was it a gentle grip, her eyes dragged to Rey and she planted her feet, to attempt to make Kylo stop, she over estimated her own strength and happened to be dragged forward by the man, his fingers digging in her skin and making her struggle a tad more, yes. She was a very silent person when it came to being captured.
But there was logic behind it; should she make a lot if noise, then she would require more people to come and restrain her, and that was not smart at all, so, she just struggled against one man who could equal three.
"Where are you taking her?!" Hope suddenly shouted when she saw the troopers taking Rey a different direction, odd that she suddenly cared for this woman. Whom she had never had an interaction with before, but Hope could not help it.
The girl had just connected to the other, it happens. Kylo ignored her, kept pulling her forward, out of the hanger and down a couple of halls, they made two left turns, three right turns... down another hall and that's when Hope just stopped counting it, because she started to drag her feet again.
Yeah, she was heavier than she looked and she wanted Kylo to stop dragging her around like she was his puppet.
"Answer me!" She growled out, twisting to the side. No one was patrolling the halls, so she figured it would be fine to start acting that way she actually wanted to.
And he stopped so suddenly, she almost lost her balance, but he was quick to drag her back to her balance and shake her until she was facing him, she could imagine anger on his face, under his mask. Hope swallowed thickly, feeling a few inches smaller already.
"You are not going to command me around and expect me to listen." He growled out, his grip on her arm now crushing, the girl just gritted her teeth. Then once more resumed silence as she was dragged along without a care, soon enough, they reached a door, which he opened and pulled her inside.
Right now, Hope's main concern was where Rey was and if she was okay.
She wasn't thinking about Finn, or Han Solo. Or Maz, not even what had happened to the planets, not even Kylo Ren, what he could do and what he was going to do. Just all about Rey, just making sure that the other was okay. Alive and not hurt, "Don't worry about her, she's perfectly fine." Kylo said, directing her attention back to the man in the mask, she huffed in and out a couple of times, trying to restraint her mind before he even begun.
He would search her mind, and he would go right for what he wanted. She didn't know that for sure, but... it was more than likely.
"If you will just tell me, you won't have to go through this pain." Kylo said after a second, he wasn't giving up on her. He was still going to try and persuade her, but... she was loyal to Luke, loyal to the Resistance... not to him.
Of course he shouldn't expect her to be loyal to him, give her all to him, do anything to make her happy. He had to remind himself that, Kylo had to. Or else he would get upset when he didn't get what he wanted, before he hadn't ever gotten his way.
But ever since he joined the Order, he had always heard 'yes' - He had grown too used to it, so he would be angry if anyone ever said no to him, or if anything didn't go his way. Because it was too much of his past, the did not want anything from his past, he wanted it all gone! Except for Hope...
He liked her, that was the only thing from his past... that he enjoyed. He would enjoy her on a deeper level if he could get her to his side, he would succeed. One day, he knew he would.
Kylo didn't say anything, Hope didn't say anything and he was looking at her through a dark perspective. He wanted to see her with his eyes, his own eyes.
The man raised his hands up, narrowing his eyes when he saw Hope flinch as he took the helmet off. It was heavy, very heavy. And he felt relieved now it was off, though it didn't show on his face. His dark eyes observed her, he needed a closer look. The man held his helmet in one hand as he approached her, he then set the helmet down beside her feet, straightened himself up again and raised his hand to caress her face, he loved it that she was here. It made him... I suppose you could say happy...
It just made him more relaxed, "Hope... look at me Hope." He said as he grabbed her face, tilting it towards his own. Her eyes, full of fear and anger, briefly flicked over his face, met his eyes before they were turned away, her breath quickening slightly.
"You're so beautiful." He breathed, then he held his other hand up, he was now going to search her mind. But first, he wanted to distract her... so it would be easier to locate what he needed.
Kylo could tell she was preparing for it, "I killed... your mother." Oh... It wasn't the right thing to say if he ever wanted her to return the feelings he had for her. But.. he served the Order...
But then again... this wasn't for the Order. He just wanted to finish what Darth Vader had started...
He felt her breath quicken, he felt her emotions, anger... mourning... sadness. Fear... he could see the tears gathering in her eyes as Kylo then slowly started to get to her mind, going right to where Luke was. Though Hope had just received the news, she was still resisting him.
The man gritted his teeth before trying harder, seeing the pain flash across her face, but he couldn't get in, no matter how hard he tried. He wasn't trying as hard as he should, he just didn't want to hurt her more than he already had.
"Mhm, it's okay, Hope... I'll help you with the loss... I'll be the person to fill your void." He was extremely pissed off that he couldn't breech her mind, but... it was his own fault for not trying harder, maybe he could wear her down a bit more, then try it again.
But, right now, he was going to see Rey. She working be any stronger, he grabbed his helmet and then left her alone in the room, tied to the chair with a smidge more of hate in her heart for Ben.
She hated him as a person, she hated him because he killed her mother. When she came home to her house, knelt down beside her mother... a hole through her chest.
Hope sucked in a deep breath and looked up at the ceiling, tears coming to her eyes. How could he? When her mother died... it was when they were still in training with Luke... and he didn't turn until two years later.
And he comforted her when she was going through it.
The tears were now coming down her face faster, the lies that he told. They rolled off his tongue with ease, it was his language... it was his drug...
Hope couldn't help but allow a soft sob to escape her lips, it was so upsetting. She had trusted Ben... but, you never know a person. She just... him... of all people. And she wanted to know why... she wanted to know why he did it.
Her hands curled into fists, and she pulled a honest the restraints. But she was in distraught... she couldn't focus, all she could do was cry softly.
Waiting for him to return... because he would return. And she knew it.
