Hope had fallen asleep in his arms, while he remained wide awake. Now realising what he had done, it wasn't him... it wasn't him. It was Kylo, he was the one who did it. He poisoned her cup, to make her have the unquenchable desire for him, there was no warning that could've been given... none at all.
Ben let out a shuddering sigh as he pulled away from Hope, getting off of the bed, he was quick to redress himself. He had gone through with it, at the time, it didn't seem bad.
Which was the result of Kylo trying to take him over.
"Shit." Ben whispered to himself as he rubbed his eyes, wincing the moment he touched the scar on his face, then he pulled his hands away as he started at Hope, he had to tell her... he had to.
When the time comes... but the time wasn't now... later... he'd have to tell her later.
Kylo stood there for a couple seconds longer before he took himself back over to the bed, sliding behind Hope and just hugging her close, a smile pulled on his face, but it wasn't a genuine one, it was one purely of malicious intent. It felt good to have her with him, even though it wasn't her choice.
She would remember every minute of it, and the moment Ben tells her what actually happened... should destroy her relationship with him and then she'd come for him. And he would give her the power and the love that she truly needed, that only he could offer.
The grin was still on his face as he closed his eyes, then fell asleep beside her.
~>~>~
It was a few hours before Hope had woken up, still tangled in the man's limbs as a pleasant soreness settled over her body. She didn't exactly remember how it happened, or why. Why Ben confessed his love for her in the most intimate way, all she knew was she was happy, despite the lurking of Kylo Ren, despite the fact that she was being held captive by the First Order. She was still belonged to the light side, she still belonged to the Resistance.
Nothing was going to change that, not Kylo, not Snoke... no one would. Hope was sure of that; she shifted forward a bit, managing to get the man's arms off of her, his legs off of her and slowly she stood, a sigh escaping her lips once she was standing on her feet, she stretched herself up - groaning softly as she felt like it would fix her muscles.
Perhaps walking around and getting familiar with the area, in case she had to make an escape. Most likely it was heavily guarded, Hope stood there for a second before her eyes widened and she realized that this was the perfect moment to escape, her saber... sonofa- where was it?
His lightsaber wasn't even on his clothing, Hope grabbed her undercloth and quickly pulled them on, then she took his cloak. For whatever reason, she just pulled it over her shoulders, then pulled on her shoes and quickly left the room, trying to keep the panic to a minimum. She didn't want her emotions to overwhelm Kylo's and wake him up, so, for now, she was just going to walk down the hall, to get a feel for the area she was in.
If Hope wasn't going to escape now, then she had to be familiar with the area when she decided to escape. Which wouldn't be today, or tomorrow, perhaps the day after. Maybe even while she was here, she would be able to get some intel.
Or she could wait for Rey, who was coming. It was just... the woman had to get something finished before she could come for Hope. And it was fine with her, she understood that Rey had to train herself if she hoped to defeat Kylo Ren and The First Order.
Technically it was impossible to do alone, which hopefully, she'd have the Resistance on her side to fight the darkness. Maybe they'd be a bit hesitant... maybe they wouldn't. They destroyed the Starkiller with the help of Poe Dameron, he would be eager to take on the First Order again.
And Han, Han would be pissed off that the Order has his daughter. Not actual daughter, but a woman who he helped raised and cared for like she was his daughter. Leia did the same for her, but Hope and Han were just more connected, and she was really connected to Luke.
He showed her how to handle her powers, he did the same with Ben. The boy had control of himself, how did he allow Kylo Ren grow so strong? He used to be so strong in the light..
.
Sure everyone had an alter ego in them, everyone had the good and the bad in them, everyone had it. Sometimes they let the dark win and then they can't control it anymore, it was upsetting when that happened. It made you wonder if it would happen to you, which is why you may end up secluding yourself from both sides for fear of getting seduced by one or more.
But the truth is, while one side is 'winning' the other side is still pushing, it is still there and it will never go away, no matter how hard you try to get rid of it...
There's always a voice telling you to do something right or to do something good and the only thing you can do is ignore it, but it's still there.
Hope's head tilted up slightly as she looked around the hallway and continued to walk. Her eyes observing everything, trying to plant it in her memory, almost like she was taking holographs with her mind, storing them. For the most part, the halls were empty and she hadn't seen anyone yet, which is why she busied herself by peeking into rooms, trying to find the weapons room.
If she found it, it wasn't likely that it wouldn't be guarded. And it wasn't likely that she would find her saber in-
Hope's eyes widened when she looked into a room that had blasters in it, as well as a certain weapon she had been looking for, which was rather convenient in a weird sort of way. The woman pushed the door open fully, then crept inside and over to her weapon, which she took a hold of and held it in her hand, feeling the energy radiating from it. Even though it wasn't even turned on, Hope sighed softly as she tilted her head down to look at it.
She could probably take it with her, but if anyone came in here, more specifically - Kylo, then she couldn't keep it a secret anymore. She didn't know this place at all and she had no information as to where she was, escaping now would make her get captured again and then be on heavier lock down.
Perhaps she could gain Kylo's trust, allow him to show her around and once she had everything she needed, she could go.
Hope sighed softly as she set the saber back down, regretting that she had to let go of something that could protect her. Regretting that she had to stay here for possibly days longer than she wanted to... she wouldn't enjoy this, especially if Snoke was on this world and wanted to see her.
The girl swallowed before she stood up once more and hugged herself, suddenly feeling a chill despite the robes she wore. Perhaps it was time to return back to the bedroom.
Hope left the armory room and started thinking go the way she had came, stepping silently over the ground, but... as she walked, something called out to her, though it was only a whisper, "Hope..."
Her eyes widened slightly and she picked up the pace, not wanting to turn around and see someone that wasn't welcome, but the more the deep, menacing voice spoke, the more she was beckoned to it.
"Hope... come to me Hope." It said, growing louder, echoing around her. And a new curiosity grew inside of her as she stopped and turned to the left, she had to go... she was going to go.
"Hope..." it said again, and soon, she was shuffling in the direction of the voice - completely unaware of the darkness that was now surrounding her.
