The Red Keep, King's Landing, THE CROWNLANDS

SEPTA MORDANE WALKED WITH SANSA STARK THROUGH THE DESERTED THRONE ROOM. It was one hour past noon, so the court ended, as well as the Small Council meeting. Lord Stark went off with the Grand Maester, and all the other dignitaries left to their businesses.

"Someday your husband will sit there and you will sit by his side," Septa pointed at the Iron Throne. "And one day, before too long, you will present your son to the court. All the lords of Westeros will gather here to see the little prince."

"What if I have a girl?" Sansa asked in a broken tone.

"Gods be good, you'll have boys and girls and plenty of them."

"What if I only have girls?"

"I wouldn't worry about that."

"Jeyne Poole's mother had five children, all of them girls."

"Yes, but it's highly unlikely."

"But what if?"

"If you only had girls, I suppose the throne would pass to Prince Joffrey's little brother."

"And everyone would hate me."

"Nobody could ever hate you."

"Joffrey does."

"Why would you ever assume such thing, my dear?" They heard Athena's voice as she approached them with her cub, Nala trailing after her. Athena was wearing a beautiful long sleeved southern pale blue dress with a very detailed golden rose belt gifted by the Tyrells. "I couldn't help but overhear your worries."

"Lady Lannister." Sansa curtsied and Septa bowed her covered head in act of pure respect. The fiery red-headed girl had a wave of melancholy consumed her as she gazed at Nala. She remembered when Lady would follow her everywhere she went but now she was gone, like the trust I had for Father.

"Joffrey doesn't want to see me, or..."

"Darling, darling, patience is a virtue. Now, I believe you're here for some reason, rather than worrying about the future."

"I was actually going to test Lady Sansa on her knowledge about the realm," Septa replied and Athena nodded approvingly. "Excellent, let's hear it then."

"Who built the Iron Throne?" Septa started and Sansa answered with a bored tone. "Aegon the Conqueror."

"And who built the Red Keep?"

"Maegor the Cruel."

"You go too easy on her," Athena smiled. "Sansa, dear, tell me which is the Great House of the Reach."
