Chapter 1

As of February 18th, 2019, I am rewriting this book. I'll be taking some parts out and editing it. Hopefully it won't be as all over the place as it was, and my grammar will definitely be better

Percy pov

I never thought I'd be going through this. After all we've been through? Man this just doesn't feel real.

Flashback

After Gaea was defeated, things started to definitely get better. Monsters weren't attacking near as much. Frank, Hazel, Jason, and Piper decided to go back to camp Jupiter. Leo went missing, but I have a feeling he's searching for Calypso.

A new kid showed up and it turns out that he is also a son of Poseidon. His name is Dante and he's only a year younger than me. Our appearance is slightly different. His hair is lighter than mine and so is his skin tone. He has less muscle and his eyes aren't near as blue. We get along pretty good, it's cool having a sibling.

Annabeth and I are still dating and I couldn't be happier. In fact, I was planning on proposing to her. The ring I had made was perfect, it was silver and had a big sea green stone in the middle and carved onto the band was the phrase "Forever in My Heart." Thalia was still with the Hunters and Nico was staying with his dad. I contacted them and told them how I was going to propose. I also told those at Camp Jupiter my plan. They all loved my proposal plan and loved the ring i made.

I never really got the chance to propose to Annabeth since she was always with Dante in fact all of my friends were except for those who werent here. Some people were just full out ignoring me but i didn't think much of it. Annabeth came up to me one day after breakfast she asked me to go to the beach at seven and said she wanted to talk.

I figured that was going to be the time I proposed to her. I imed Nico Thalia and the rest and told then I was going to propose that night. Seven o'clock came and i went down to the beach. I heard some people chanting, kiss kiss kiss!

As i got closer i seen Dante kissing someone. My 'dad' Poseidon was there too and he was smiling at Dante. My heart shattered when i saw it was Annabeth kissing Dante. My 'dad' laughed and yelled

"I declare Dante my favorite son Percy was a weakling anyways."

If possible my heart shattered more. I was now very pissed off. I walked up to the traitors and threw the ring at Annabeth, she looked surprised

"Was this what you wanted to talk about? That you've been cheating on me with my brother!" I spat in her face

"Whatever all of you can fuck off dont expect me to save your sorry asses again!" I yelled and with that I stormed off to my old cabin to pack.

I wrote a note, saying that I was leaving and not coming back. I don't care if they find it or not. I took one last glance around my cabin and walked out the door with a heavy heart.
