I woke up the next morning laying down on the couch, a blanket thrown over me, and a sticky note stuck to my forehead. I sat up an peeled off the note. It read:
Dear Lily,
You two bums, you and Harry slept in while we were all awake, and we got tired of waiting for you people to wake up, soooooo......we left to go shopping. And not because Harry told us to do something without you guys today, just because we wanted to. So yeah, see you later tonight!!

I smiled at the note thinking that Harry definitely told them to do something without us today, because Louis said that isn't what happened, so obviously, that is what happened. I put the note on the table, and got up to make some coffee. Once I finished pouring my cup Harry came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist as he dug his head into my neck.
"So, we're alone today..." I started off.
"Yeah, I kind of told them to do their own thing. I needed some us time." he said with a wink. I have no idea what that was supposed to mean, but I guess I just had to enjoy it.
"So what do you have planned?" I asked him turning around and handing him a cup of coffee.
"Well, since it's still hot out, I thought we could have a beach day. I mean I know it's like the middle of September, but I think it's warm enough." he said.
"Okay, that sounds great! I'll go get dressed." I said running up the stairs. I got dressed in my navy blue striped bikini, and tank top and board shorts, and some white flip flops. Then I packed a bag with towels, sunscreen. Then I ran back down stairs to see Harry just putting on his shirt.
"You ready?" I asked making Harry jump.
"Oh, didn't know you were behind me. But yeah. Let's go." he said grabbing my keys.
"Oh I can drive." I said reaching for the keys.
"No, you have done plenty of driving. I'll drive." he said holding the keys away from me.
"No, I wanna drive!" I whined.
"Fine, then get the keys." he taunted holding them high over his head. I jumped for the keys like a little kids grunting in frustration.
"Ugh!! You know it's impossible for me to get them!" I said. I was what you could say vertically challenged, but I prefer the term short. Anyways, I continued jumping and I almost got them when Harry stopped me and looked into my eyes, and crashed his lips onto mine. Once we parted I just looked at him smiling.
"I still want to drive." I said.
"Too bad." he said running out the door with my keys and the bag. He hopped in the drivers seat and I went in the passenger seat. Then we drove off to the beach. We arrived at the beach, and got out of the car to find a spot on the sand. We found one very easily, since there was like no one there in September. I laid down a towel and the stripe down to my bikini. Harry looked at me the same way he did when we went to the pool at the hotel. I just giggled and smiled at him. He sat down on the towel and patted his lap. I willingly climbed on but faced him, and wrapped my legs around his waist. I pressed my body to his and stared into his shining emerald orbs.
"I love you Harry." I finally said.
"I love you too Lily." he replied. Then I pressed my lips to his as our lips moved in sync. Then we pulled away.
"Do you want to go in the water?" I asked.
"Sure." he replied. He stood up and then held out his hands to help me up. He pulled me up and then immediately started running towards the water. He ran right into a wave and dove in. I stood by the edge letting the water wash up to my feet.
"Aren't you coming in?" Harry asked from the water.
"Um, isn't it like wicked cold?" I asked him cause I think he was turning purple and his teeth were chattering.
"No......." he said trailing off. I clearly didn't believe him. "Well, if you're not coming in yourself, then I'm gonna have to make you." he said as he started walking out of the water.
"Harry..........Harry, no!!!!" I screamed as he picked me up with his freezing hands and flung me over his shoulder. He started running into the water as clod splashes hit my face. Once moment I'm over Harry's shoulder and the next I was flying through the air. I landed in the deep, ice cold water. I came up shivering and gasping for air.
"Omg!!! Harry it's freezing!! I can't feel my body at all!!' I screamed.
"Hold on Lily!!" he said. He started swimming over to me and scooped me up in his arms. Then he carried me back over to the towel and grabbed the other one and wrapped it around my shivering body.
"I'm so sorry, Lily. I didn't think it was that cold. I mean it wasn't for me. I'm sorry." he said panicked.
"It's al..r....ight." I said till shivering. He grabbed the towel that was laying on the ground and shook it out and wrapped it around himself. He practically sat on top of me as we cuddled together to get warm. I warmed up soon, and we were just enjoying each others company. It was nice. After which felt like an hour of just sitting there Harry interrupted the silence.
"Do you wanna o back to the flat?" he asked. I just nodded. He helped me up and grabbed the bag and we walked back to the car. We hopped in and drove off. Once we got back to the flat I was back to normal body temperature. We walked inside and took showers to clean all of the salty water off. Then we hung out on the couch and waited until the others got back. Shortly after the cam bursting through the door.
"HONEY!! I'M HOME!!!!!!!!!!" I heard Louis yell obnoxiously, followed by a slap, and an 'ow'.
"Hey guys! How as shopping?" I asked them.
"It was great! What about your day?" asked Niall.
"Yeah, how about our day?" Louis asked cheekily, wiggling his eyebrows. Zayn slapped him again.
"Oh, my God, Louis. But yeah it was fun. We went to the beach and I thought Lily was gonna get hypothermia." Harry said.
"Lily got hypothermia!!!!!!??????" Kiera yelled running right to her side with a worried look on her face.
"No, no she didn't get it. But it looked like she was gonna get it." Harry explained.
"Oh good. God man! Don't scare me like that!!" Kiera exclaimed.
"Sorry." Harry said.
"So what do you guys want to do??" Liam asked.
"Eat Carrots!!"Louis said.
"No, Louis. I don't think we even have carrots." I said.
" Yeah we do. I just bought some today." he said matter of factly.
"We can have another movie night and get pizza or something." Zayn said.
"Yeah that sounds good. I mean the pizza." Niall said. "But movie night is good too." he added.
"Alright. Then it's settled. I'll order the pizza. You guys pick out movies to watch." Liam said as he walked off with the phone. We picked out some movies and popped one in just as Liam came back. We all settled in the couches. The pizza came soon after. We all ate and watched movies. Kiera and Niall were cuddled up in the big chair, Liam, Zayn, and Louis were all sprawled out across the lage couch, and Harry and I were together on the love seat. It was moments like these that I admired most about us. We were like one big family. And I didn't want anything to change.
