We heard the car park on the street. I kissed my mom goodbye, and we walked out the door to find a long black limo sitting there in front of the house. OMG, what did they do? Harry and Niall came sliding out, and walked up to us. We were just standing there with our mouths open, staring at the limo. Harry waved his hand in front of my face to get my attention.
"I'm guessing you're not used to this stuff. Or is it to much?" he asked.
"No, it's amazing. We just didn't expect it! You really know how to spoil a girl." I replied.
"Yeah, I second that! This is so awesome! I've always wanted to ride in a limo!" Kiera exclaimed.
"Hey since we are riding in a limo, do we get to hang out the sunroof like in those cheesy movies!!!" I said getting really excited.
"Anything you want love." Harry said.
"I do it all the time anyway. It is so much more fun actually doing it than just watching it." Niall admitted.
"Well then lets go! I'm starving!" I said a little to over excited.
We all went into the limo and opened up the sunroof. Harry and I went up first. I put my arms up in the air and waved them all over the place like a maniac. The warm breeze ran across my bare skin. I didn't realize it but I was screaming wicked loudly. Harry did the same. Niall was right, it was better than watching it!!!
"Kiera, you gotta come try this!!!" I yelled down to her.
Harry and I went back inside while Niall and Kiera went up. We could hear them screaming as well. We hadn't even gotten to the restaurant yet and I was already having a blast!! Kiera and Niall came back down and slumped into their seats.
"That is such a rush!" Kiera said.
"I know right! It is so amazing!" I said a little to loudly.
"Did I tell you that you look really beautiful tonight love?" Harry said looking me over.
"No you didn't until now, but thank you. You look wicked handsome by the way."
We pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant which look really fancy. But it was good because I usually feel under or over dressed when it come to things like this, but tonight I felt like the most perfect girl, like I was on cloud nine. Nothing could ruin tonight. Harry and Niall got out of the limo on opposite sides, so that they could help us out. Harry held out his hand for me and I gladly took and held on even after I got out of the limo. They fit perfectly together like they were made for each other. He looked over at me and then down to our intertwined hands.
"You're still wearing your bracelet. I didn't know you were going to." Harry said while staring at my wrist.
"I never take it off unless I have to." I told him.
"Good." was all he said as we continued walking towards the restaurant.
The boys had made reservations earlier, so we were immediately escorted to our table. It was beautiful, and everything was perfect. I couldn't imagine it could get any better. Dinner continued on as usual with all of us telling each other a bit more about ourselves. The food was delicious, and I was having a great time. When we finished we left the restaurant. I began heading towards where the limo was parked, but Harry quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me back over. I looked back at him with a confused look on my face.
"Aren't we going back to the limo?" I asked him.
"Kiera and Niall are, but me and you are going somewhere else." he said mysteriously.
"Um, Okay......." I said a little nervously.
He continued to hold my hand as we walked to wherever he was taking me. We continued walking along for about 10 minutes, until we finally stopped somewhere that I recognized instantly. It was the park that I used to come to with my dad when I was little. Before he was taken. I used to have so much fun here, and my dad would sit and read a newspaper while he watched me run around. Then sometimes he would come and chase me around the park. And we would laugh. It was empty, like it is most times, and it was just me and Harry, just like it was before, just me and my dad. A single tear escaped from my eye as all of these memories rushed through my mind. Harry led me over to a bench under a tree. We sat down, and Harry looked over at me. He noticed my wet cheek.
"Lily, are you crying?" he asked me as he dried me cheek.
"No, it's just...I don't ...I.." I didn't know if I wanted to tell him about my dad.
"It's okay love, you can tell me." he said.
I took a deep breath and told him about my dad, and how it affected me, and that I cried for days, and how I sang to my sister every night.
"This was the park that my dad used to take me too all the time when I was little. We had such fun times here. So many memories. Like when he would finally catch me after chasing me and would grab me and spin me around, and it felt like I was flying. Things like that stay with me."
Harry didn't say anything. It was silent, and another tear fell. I stared straight ahead of me. Pictures of me and my dad began to overflow in my mind. I could see us running around and laughing right in front of me. It was like I could reach out and touch us. I smiled slightly.
"I'm sorry Lily. I didn't know about you're dad. This was supposed to be romantic and happy. I didn't mean to make you upset." Harry said after a few minutes.
"It's okay, it's not your fault. You didn't know. So, anyway, why did you bring me here?" I said.
"Well, I wanted to ask you something."
"Well, I don't really know how to say this. Um....well, Lily these past few days with you have been amazing. And when we ran into each other that day, I couldn't help but fall in love with you. When I look into you're eyes it makes me melt inside. You're beautiful, and I can't stop thinking about you no matter how much I try. I don't know if you feel the same way, but I know that we definitely had sparks that day. And when I saw you at the concert, I couldn't believe it, but I did. I just couldn't let you go like that, I had to get you. That's how much of an affect you had on me. And I'm going out on a limb here but.............I love you."
I'm not sure if I was supposed to be expecting that, but I wasn't. And I did feel the same way as he did, but I wouldn't have been able to express it as well as he did. He made me melt inside. He was what I thought about every day non stop. He was the one that made me feel like I was floating in mid air. During that moment I didn't know what to say, except for what I did say.
"I love you too."
He smiled. We both looked into each other's eyes, and the next few moments I don't even know how they happened. All of a sudden his lips were on mine. They fit perfectly together, moving together in sync. His arms wrapped around my waist, and my hands wrapped around his neck, playing with the back ends of his hair. The kiss was sweet, and it never got really heated. It was just like a first kiss should be. When we finally pulled away, I rested my forehead against his, as we caught our breath.
"We should go back." Harry whispered.
"Okay, yeah." I agreed. I grabbed his hand and we began walking back to the limo. We got back in about 15 minutes, and got into the limo. Niall and Kiera were already there. Kiera was smiling dreamily and her head was resting on Niall's shoulder. I kind of figured they had something like what me and Harry had too.
"So, how was the rest of your evening? Cause I know mine was amazing." Niall said as he looked down at Kiera, who looked up and smiled.
"Yeah, ours was great. Definitely a night to remember." said Harry. I looked over at him and smiled. It was a night to remember, and I know that I always will remember it.
