The next few days passed quickly, as September came to an end. I know that Kiera and I should be in college right now, but we decided to wait a year or two so we could get used to living on our own for a while. It was different not living with my mother and sister. At the moment, I was living alone (unless you count Harry and the boys spending most of their nights here) because Kiera’s parents had come home from their summer long tropical vacation. She went to her house to spend the week there so she could be with her parents after the long summer. But she wasn’t that far, and Niall promised to give her some space so she could be with her parents. He actually got to meet them finally. And I spent the first day they got back with them and Kiera because they were practically my second parents. The boys and I have been enjoying ourselves very much. I usually feel better when Kiera is here with me as well, because I feel more protected. She’s like a second sister to me. And I also feel protected with the boys because they are all like brothers to me, except for Harry cause then that would mean I was dating my brother.  Awkward. Anyways, I always enjoy the company I can get.  It’s the moments that I’m alone, that I feel like memories haunt me the most.  Memories of my father, and the tragic events that led up to his passing. Memories of the faults that Harry and I have encountered. But sometimes I enjoy the silence when it brings back memories of times with my family before the tragedy, of times that I’m alone with Harry, and times when I’m with the boys and Kiera who I am happy to call my family. I cherish every good moment like it’s the last, because I know that if I do, everything will seem perfect when I look back on those moments.

I stood on the balcony in my room, watching the sunset, as the cool fall breeze blew through my hair. A pair of muscular arms wove their way around my waist, and a pair of sweet lips met the skin on my neck, interrupting my thoughts. Small little kisses were left all up and down my neck, then up my jaw line. I softly giggled as he reached my sweet spot. He spun me around so that his emerald orbs were staring into my bright blue ones.

“Lily Hayes, do you know how much I love you?” Harry asked me.

“Of course I do. And do you, Harry Styles, know how much I love you?” I asked him back.

“Yes, of course.” he said as he leaned in and rested his forehead against mine. His hands were placed gently on my hips.

“Good.” I said.

“Good.” he said. Then he walked away into my room and reached for my IPod. He then started playing a song I was very familiar with, that I knew by heart. Irresistible. This was one of my favorite songs by the boys. It always spoke to me like no other song did, and I had told Harry this in the past. He walked back over to me and placed his hands on my waist once again.

“Dance with me?” he said sort of like a question.

“Sure.” I said. He took one of my hands and held it close, as he wrapped an arm around my waist pulling me closer to him. I wrapped my arm around his neck and rested my head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat, and the music. He lifted me up effortlessly and placed my feet on top of his as we danced together. Every step he took, I took with him, and our hearts beat in time. I took one moment to look up into his eyes which had become so familiar to me over the past months. I leaned in and gently pressed my lips firmly to his, as they moved in sync. I moved my hand up to the back of his head, tangling my fingers in his curls. We pulled away as we continued dancing along. The song had changed to another one of my favorites, Truly Madly Deeply. We continued dancing, and I just wanted to freeze this moment like this forever. This was one of those moments that I wanted to remember, and think back to, because I knew right now everything was perfect. Everything was right. And in that moment I heard a whisper.

“For Infinity.” Harry whispered.

“For Infinity.” I whispered back.
