A failed attempt to bring back Adonia from the veil. Everyone is dazed by her rage and dismay. All of the townsfolk couldn’t have found her.  A desperate young girl in search of meaning, oh how everyone feared for her sake, including me. But it went all to dust, my time has come.  To the rouge landscape with me.

It was dawn when I had decided to venture forth. One had given me a good luck charm and a firm hug. It was quite a sentimental feeling. Sadly all secular emotions must trail in the wakes of my odyssey. The fates were kind, they let me through. By the southern gates, I made a prayer. Then I took my first step outside the limits and began my journey.

           The weather was fine and faire, a light breeze was coming through from the near clear skies. A complete contrast to what I experienced that moment.  It was a soulwake. The mountain’s zenith pierced the sky as if it was trying to reach heaven. Columns of magical updrafts spiral around without a sight to behold. A formidable stand that looks over all souls with one eye judgmental, the other merciful. It flows through every fiber of my being. I took a long stare at the range, and it seemed that the mountain itself was staring back at me.  To the rocky road, all mortal flesh remained silent. I have heard about Elven myths telling how the mountain changes its frontage for every soul who grazes through these stony floors. I had to say that there was something angelic about this mountain, a bit far off from the typical miens of sacred Elven monument. Small bunches of forests grow at irregular parts of the mountain with gaps of nothingness left for me to look down and around. I nearly felt i could fly, my soul nearly about to escape my body. The sun would shine down on me as i stand before with visions of righteous deeds of angels. An incredible passion, has taken a shape of my own.

The path began to wind further and further into the crevasses of the range. I felt like I was slipping into the realm of dreams and for a split second, I may have seen Adonia’s figure walking along the horizon. Everything seems so slow and muddled with thick vapors of magic filling my chest with every breath. I began to pray for a moment before I went on further.

“Antecedite me, Domine, quaesumus, Domine, aspirando praeveni in omnibus operibus tuis: et me, etiam adjuvando prosequere: ut cuncta nostra oratio et operatio a te semper incipiat, et per te ta coepta finiatur. Per Christum Dominum nostrum. Amen.”

Suddenly a parlaying stroke rips through my skull and all becomes murky and gray. To the floor, I laid there before the mercy of the elements. A smoky haze blurs the identity of a person coming towards me, in a slow, majestic pace. Out comes a young, beautiful woman with the body of a goddess. A thin, curvy woman with marble like skin and a seductive bust. Her model is the paramount of purity and beauty, her voice was marred with sin.

       “Come, abandon all your worries. Abandon your god and you can have me instead.” Her voice slithering in my ears.

       “I will have none of this!” I snapped back as I spring myself back up.

“Are you honestly going to leave this poor, poor woman alone in the wilderness? I need a strong, noble man to protect me.” She slides her hand to my groin but I

snatch her wrist, ready to break it. A white hot flame of justice burns in my heart, my back feelings like something is piercing from the inside out, but that only intensifies the flame.

“You may have a body of a goddess, but I will not abandon my people, my faith, my Lord for lechery! Keep your body to yourself! I put morality before vain pleasures; you shall not tempt me demon!”

“Hmpm! I guess you really don’t want me huh. Just wait till I come back with a new body.”

“A new what?” Before I finished my question, her hand dissolved into gray smoke;
