Interview: The_Warrior_Writer

I still need to start reading @The_Warrior_Writer's works because they look good. And a ton of other peoples stuff too. Don't go to college, kids. Its so HARD and time consuming D:

1. What is your name? (optional)

My name is Payton

2. How would you describe yourself? (in three sentences or more)

Oh, I don't really know where to begin. I'm kinda crazy but I love to have fun. So I guess I'm kinda a goof-ball. I'm kinda sarcastic sometimes and can also be sassy. I can get sad easily too. Going back to the easily sad thing, I can get very very mad extremely quickly. Like, sometimes all I have to do is see someone and I get mad.

3. Have you ever been to a foreign country? Anywhere other than the one you would call home? If so, what are some interesting things you saw there?

Actually, sadly no. I really want to go to Canada, Italy, Britain, France, Australia, and Sweden though and I hope I can go one day.

4. What inspires you to write? A person, a place? Anything!

Well really just books at first. I was really young when I first started to write so I can't really remember. But now it is my parents because they keep telling me I can do it. It's also my friends so I can help them and do something big for them.

5. How old were you when you took an interest in writing?

Well like I said I was young. I think I might of been at the most 8 when I started to write my one story. I forgot to put a date so I can't remember that well.

6. Why did you choose your current username? Does it represent you? Does it have a story behind it?

Well my username is actually kinda what I do. Since right now most of my stories are Warrior Fanfics so that's kinda how I chose the username. Now I kinda wish I could change it to @The_Crazy_Writer since I'm including more stuff in my writing now.

7. What is the first story you wrote that you can remember? Is it on Wattpad?

Well my first story would have to be 'The Trackers.' And yes, I am starting to put it on Wattpad but I'm doing a whole lot of editing to it and doing more description. The story was actually about a wolf that her family is killed and she finds out she can talk to other animals and she uses that power then gets more like that but I don't want to spoil it.

8. Do you prefer to write a story in pencil on paper first? Or do you use a computer?

I kinda like my phone better. Some stories like 'The Trackers' and some of my love stories I have been putting on paper first so I can edit it more when I put it on my phone.

9. How did you find Wattpad, and what about it was the reason you decided to stay once you found it?

Let's see, I found Wattpad because of my best friend in real life and it was actually for band fanfics. I kinda liked to read them then I started to see Warrior fanfics so I started to read them and even write some of my own and that's kinda why I chose to stay.

10. What is your favorite book on Wattpad, why is it your favorite, and would you suggest this book to others?

Well it's more of a series. Its from my Bff @skystxr and it's a warrior fanfic. I started to read it when she was in the third book I think and now I'm on the ninth really. She also kinda inspired me to write. Now I would suggest this series because it is a really well thought out series and it's definitely taken a lot of time.

11. Who is your favorite author on Wattpad and why?

Well it's @skystxr because she is my Bff and an amazing writer. I think since I got into the warrior fanfics she's kinda always been there and votes on all of my chapters in my main series. It's just been a big help for her to be there for me.

12. How did you find out about Warriors, and what made you stick to the series?

I don't really remember but I think it's because I was looking for something to read at the bookstore and since I liked cats I thought it would be good. Once I got the first book I found out it was amazing and it's been really fun to read them all. I really can't wait for the next arc.

13. What is your favorite scene from any of the books, and why is it your favorite?

It would probably when Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Hollyleaf found out that Leafpool was their mother and not Squirrelflight. It kinda was a change and at first I actually thought Squirrelflight was their mother. I almost threw my book across the room because of that because I really hate Leafpool.

14. What inspired you to write Warriors fanfiction(s)?

This is actually my other friend @spokenwrites since it was mainly all her in my main series. She had a clan on Instagram and I joined it and that kinda made my main characters. The series is basically about that clan and then some other clans because I have other clans too. That series wouldn't be here without her.

15. How many people do you know in person who also have read Warriors?

Ummm, two at the least. Well one if you count the whole thing. My other friend is just starting it still.

16. Who is your favorite Warriors character from a FanFiction here on Wattpad?

I have to say Skystar, Silverstar, Stormstar, Silvershy, NoName, and Tyler from @skystxr's series. And some others but I can't really think of them at the moment. I've read a lot of great series and it's hard to keep track of them all. Another one of my favorites would be all the main characters from @thecatoftheprophecy's series because it's so interesting.

17. What tips would you like to give to any aspiring authors? 

Well, I'm not really here to say much. I'm not that good of an author but I have been trying my best. Some tips would be try to get better at English or whatever language yours is. I know it may seem hard but you can do it. Also, just keep writing. You can always get an English (or other language) teacher to see if it's good or not. Or just give it to your parents. They may not be masters but they will tell you the truth too.

18. What would you say is the most important when writing a story?

Heart. The most important thing is having your heart in it. For an athlete I here this way to much but it really is true. If you don't have your heart in something you won't succeed. I've learned that the hard way multiple times.

19. Tell us about any of your Warriors fanfiction(s), what it is about, and why we should read it.

Well my main series is called 'The First Strike Series.' It's just basically about my five main cats (Flamefur, Tigerstripe, Cheetahpelt, Silverstar, and Bluesnow) and their lives in their clan DepthClan. They face lots of hard struggles and even some weird ones. I'm not really saying you should read it since I know it's not one of the best. I just love it that it is in consideration.

20. Is there anything you'd like to say to your friends, fans and readers? Any shout-outs to specific Wattpad members?

Just thank you all for being there. I might not have a whole lot of readers but I'm fine with that. I don't completely want to be famous yet. This has been wonderful though. The shoutouts would have to go to @skystxr @thecatoftheprophecy @spokenwrites and all my other regular reader and voters. I've loved having you along for the journey and I'm sorry I can't name you all. I just kinda have a bad memory for whose name is what and all that.
