Interview: Skywarriorbird

1. What is your name? 

I can't tell you my name, but my nick name is Sky (I know, it's really ironic)

2. How would you describe yourself? 

I know I'm antisocial, I'm quirky, extreamly absentminded, and very awkward... xD

3. Have you ever been to a foreign country? Anywhere other than the one you would call home? If so, what are some interesting things you saw there?

I haven't, but I will be soon! I'm going to Canada over the summer, and soon to Spain!

4. What inspires you to write? A person, a place? Anything!

Everything inspires me to write! Nature, imagination, art, music, heck, even me leveling up on final fantasy XIV is inspiring! (Don't judge!)

5. How old were you when you took an interest in writing?

Geez, this is a hard one. I guess right when I realized that I could, so probably in third grade. It was mostly dialogue...

6. Why did you choose your current username? Does it represent you? Does it have a story behind it?

It represents me almost perfectly! I love the sky and everything about it, and I've actually always wanted to be a bird... I know, it's weird. When I first put in the username 'Skybird' it sadly was taken. So I put warrior in the middle because I love warriors! And BOOM! Skywarriorbird was made.

7. What is the first story you wrote that you can remember? Is it on Wattpad?

The first warriors Fanfiction I wrote was on Wattpad, but I don't have the courage to show you all. This was my first and my last account, so it's all still unpublished somewhere... *shudder* My first story I wrote was about this messed up twisted world that a girl had to find her way through to fix it. I must have burned it or something xD

8. Do you prefer to write a story in pencil on paper first? Or do you use a computer?

I normally use my phone to write stories, because it's quicker for me and it's what I use on Wattpad. I used to use pencil and paper, but my hands would get too sore...

9. How did you find Wattpad, and what about it was the reason you decided to stay once you found it?

This is so embarrassing xD. Okay, I found it from looking for actual good fan fictions for jayxhalf. I only slightly regret it. Slightly. I still ship it the hardest xD. Wattpad said that after I read the first chapter, I had to get a Wattpad account. And I did! But I never found that Fanfiction again...

10. What is your favorite book on Wattpad, why is it your favorite, and would you suggest this book to others?

My favorite book on Wattpad... Geez, you guys ask hard questions! Okay, I feel so bad. Honestly I have no idea! All of the books I've read are so good! But I would of course recommend LightningstrikeTC's book, Icetail's Enemy. I'm still in the process of reading it... I'm a very slow reader.

11. Who is your favorite author on Wattpad and why?

My favorite author would be again LightningstrikeTC because her stories are just so captivating and amazing and just... *sigh* she is such a good writer. I know, praise the Lightning empire!

12. How did you find out about Warriors, and what made you stick to the series?

I found it out when I was looking in the library and had found a book from the second series. I didn't understand a thing, so I just sent it back. My sister got the whole series, omen of the stars and all, and I got hooked.

13. What is your favorite scene from any of the books, and why is it your favorite?

Uhm... probably the first book of the first series. I know, a lot of people hate on Firestar, but he's really cool to me.

14. What inspired you to write Warriors fanfiction(s)?

When I read a Fanfiction for the first time. The Fanfiction was of course from Wattpad, and it was the one I was talking about before. I have no idea why it was inspiring...

15. How many people do you know in person who also have read Warriors?

Only my sister, and if you know me, you know that she and i aren't really... Freinds, I guess...

16. Who is your favorite Warriors character from a FanFiction here on Wattpad?

Geez, I don't know... I guess rubberbutt from Cloudtailgrandmas spoofs. Honestly I have no idea.

17. What tips would you like to give to any aspiring authors?

Be yourself! Write what YOU want to write, not what people want you to write! It will make your story better for your love for writing it!!!

18. What would you say is the most important when writing a story?

Characters. Creating a character with certain traits effects everything they do, and it creates the story and how it moves along. Relations with these characters should be made depending on how they react to each other.

19. Tell us about any of your Warriors fanfiction(s), what it is about, and why we should read it.

I only have a few, but this one is Snowfang's Regret. It's about a shecat who is rejected because of her eyes, which are russet red. She is in a world where as an apprentice, you have to take a test, most likely leading to death. Terror and regret are coming, and her eyes will be the first sign of it.

20. Is there anything you'd like to say to your friends, fans and readers? Any shout-outs to specific Wattpad members?
