Chapter 2(October 30)
The next morning I awoke and I felt like I was moving, so I opened my eyes to find Craig carrying me.
“Craigafer, where are we going?” I asked groggily.
“On tour, don’t worry we got all of your stuff packed and whatever we forgot we’ll stop and get, you can go back to sleep if you’d like.” He said boarding the bus.
“Nah, it’s alright.” I said getting on my own two feet and sat on the couch, “Who are we touring with?”
“Black Veil Brides, Get Scared and Falling In Reverse.” He said the last part quickly.
“FALLING IN REVERSE? MEANING RONNIE?” I yelled, scared out of my mind.
“It’s ok, you’ll be fine as long as you’re with someone else, just make sure you’re not alone ok?”
“Uh, yeah, but what if he-“
“He won’t, I promise.” He said and hugged me. I went to my bunk, middle on the left side, laid down and listen to my I-pod. I cannot believe Ronnie Radke, the one person I hate in this world, is touring with us.
“WHERE’S AMBER?” I heard Nick yell.
“Bunk.” I heard Max say, damn him ruining my thinking time!
“Berr, are you ok?” I heard Nick ask pulling away the curtain.
“Fine,” I choked out.
“Then tell me why you’re crying.” I hadn’t realized I was crying. Crap now everyone would be hovering making sure I was ok.
“It’s nothing, don’t worry about it.”
“Is it because Ronnie is on tour with us?” I stayed quiet and the weirdo he is, he read my mind and pulled me into a hug and let me cry. I guess you’re wondering what Ronnie did that was so bad. Well, we used to be best friends, and then he started using drugs and getting abusive. He would hit me and one night, that one horrid March 15, he raped me. I never reported it, I only told Craig. Eventually Ronnie was kicked out of Escape the Fate followed by him breaking his parole and going to jail. I never thought about if I would see him again, I was just happy I couldn’t see him for a while there.
“Amber, it’s ok. I won’t let him hurt you.” Nick said.
“Thanks.” I said glumly.
“Oh come on! Cheer up, tomorrow you’ll be 16!” I heard Craig groan.
“I feel so OLD!” I heard him say, making me laugh.
“Yay, you laughed, no going back to sad now!” He said, “But I must get back to my bus, I will see you tomorrow in Paige Nevada!” He said, kissed the top of my head and left. I went to the back lounge to find Monte and Robert playing Halo, so I watched them play for a while. Then we all got hungry and stopped at Wendy’s for food. The rest of the night was uneventful, so I decided to sleep.
