Chapter 7(November 29) In LA California
I woke up right when the bus stopped not really knowing where we were, and I heard the door open, so I got up to see who it was.
“AUNTIE AMBER!” I heard Leila yell and I scooped her into my arms.
“Hey little one, how are you?”
“I’m good,” Then she looked over and saw Craig, “DADDY!” She said and I handed her to Craig and went outside. Gab was standing there with a frown on her face, so I went up and hugged her.
“Hey, how are you?” She asked.
“Way better now that we’re home!” I said and smiled, she tried to smile back, but couldn’t, “You?”
“Fine.” She said harshly, I shrugged it off and immediately went upstairs and took a shower, when I got done I heard yelling from downstairs, so I went.
“WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?” Craig yelled.
“DON’T GIVE ME THAT BULL SHIT! I SAW THE PICTURES OF YOU TWO ONLINE!”
“GAB I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT!” Then I heard a small sob from the kitchen, I followed it and little Leila was crying, I sat down next to her and pulled her on my lap.
“Why are mommy and daddy fighting?” she cried.
“I don’t know, come on.” I said and stood up taking her hand.
“FUCK YOU, CRAIG!”
“HEY BOTH OF YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!” I yelled, they both looked at me, shocked, I never butted into their arguments, “LOOK WHAT THIS IS DOING TO YOUR DAUGHTER!” The both looked at her, she was now hugging my leg, and had tears running down her face, “Now, settle this like adults! To be honest it’s really sad a sixteen year old has to point it out for you! Come on Lei; want to go out for ice cream?” She nodded her head ‘yes’ so I picked her up in my arms and carried her out of the house, giving Craig and Gab dirty looks, seriously, they need to get a grip. After about an hour Leila was getting tired, so we walked home.
“Thank you so much Auntie Amber!” She said and hugged my leg, what a cutie.
“You’re very welcome Lei! Did you have fun?”
“Yes!”
“Good!” I said and carried her; by the time we got home she had fallen asleep. I opened the front door and I heard yelling. I covered Leila’s ear and put her in her bed and went downstairs.
“Gab! Don’t do this, please! We need you!” Craig pleaded, tears streaming down her face.
“No, Craig, you fucking replaced me, so that must be a lie.” She said.
“What the hell is going on?” I asked.
“I’m leaving because your brother can’t stick to one girl.”
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
“YOU WERE THERE!”
“SHHH! Leila’s asleep! And what are you talking about? Tour? Craig didn’t sleep with anyone on tour! I should know!”
“What?”
“Yeah, open your eyes, Gab he loves you, he wouldn’t do anything to hurt you.” I said and went up to my room. I got a text from Andy. ‘Hey babe:3 How are you?’ I couldn’t help but smile, I relied: ‘Hey, I’m ok, how bout you?’ He replied a couple minutes later ‘I’m good, and just ok?’ ‘Yea:/idk y. I miss u!’ ‘Miss u 2 babe, wanna see a moovie?’ ‘Haha sure!’ ‘K, pick u up in a few, I love you!’ ‘I love you too<3’ Then I quickly got ready and when I was Andy was downstairs waiting.
“Hey” He said with a smile. I smiled and ran up to him and jumped onto him, almost making him fall over.
“Hi!” I said and kissed him.
“Ready for our movie?”
“Why yes I am! What are we seeing?”
“It’s a secret!” he said opening the passenger door for me.
“What’s with you and secrets?”
“I don’t know, but it’s fun because you don’t know what’s coming!” He said and smiled at me. We drove for a while and zoomed passed the movie theatre.
“Uh, Andy, you passed it.”
“Huh? Oh, I know I decided to take you somewhere else.”
“Oh? Mind letting me in on this plan?”
“Can’t! It’s a surprise.”
“God damn it!” He laughed at my frustration, I just glared at him. We drove for a while longer singing along to our favorite music. After about a half an hour we pulled into a parking lot with a shit load of cars. No, did he really?
“Andy?” I asked sweetly.
“Yes my love?”
“Did you really get PEIRCE THE VEIL TICKETS?”
“Yes, yes I did!” He said and grinned.
“You didn’t have to do this you know.” I said.
“I know, but I’m just that good to you.”
“Yes, yes you are!” I said and hugged him tightly. I let go then he held my hand and we literally skipped all the way to our seats. How the hell did he get front row on such short notice? Then they came onto the stage.
“Hey, LA! How are you dooin?” Vic asked, aw, he’s cute. Everyone started cheering, “Great! Now before we start we have a couple announcements, uh, ok, first off, we will be joining the tour with Black Veil Brides and all them as soon as they head out, and I might be having a special singer tonight, if she agrees. Is there a Miss Amber Mabbitt out there?” Oh shit. Andy lifted me up on his shoulders.
“Right here, man!” Andy yelled.
“Oh, sweet, would you mind joining me for a song or two?”
“Sounds fun!” I yelled and was ushered backstage. Well I’m not going to say no! That’s rude! But the entire time I was glaring at Andy he was just laughing his ass off. Then when I finally got onstage they gave me a mic and the beginning to Sky Under the Sea started and I sang along, after that I helped sing Caraphernelia and was let off stage to enjoy the rest of the concert, I was so happy they would be touring with us!
After the concert Andy took me home, and kissed me goodnight on the front porch. This night was amazing! Too bad it ended so quickly.
