Chapter 8
Our stay in Los Angeles didn’t last long. The entire time I was trying to decide to risk going on tour, but in the end I packed my bags for the next five weeks and said “Let’s roll out!”
“What are we transformers now?” Nick asked, did you forget about Get Scared? The nerve of some people.
“Yea, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you earlier!” I said sadly.
“How DARE you forget to tell me something as important as being a transformer?” He said dramatically, I laughed as he jokingly stormed off to his bus.
“Ready?” Craig asked.
“Yes, let’s do this thang!” I told him, we got on the bus and started our journey to Dallas, and somehow Andy managed to convince Craig to let him come on our bus. Lately Craig has been acting really weird about me and him dating.
“I think Craig hates me now.” Andy said, him and I were currently laying in my bunk.
“No he doesn’t, he’s just a weirdo.”
“Maybe he thinks I betrayed him?”
“You’re insaine!”
“Amber I need to talk to you!” I heard Craig call from the lounge. So I went back there, “Are you and Andy, you know, serious?”
“Uh, yeah, why?”
“No reason, just be careful.” No reason my ass!
“Come on, just tell me!”
“Well, it’s just there’s a bit of an age difference.”
“Ok, well, I’m still going to date him no matter what you say, sorry.” I said and went back to Andy.
“What was that about?”
“Nothing, don’t worry.” I said.
“Are you sure?”
“Yep! All is good! So I’m bored.”
“Sweeny Todd?”
“YOU READ MY MIND!” I shouted and we raced to get snacks, and to the back lounge. It was great! Andy sang all the songs, but I didn’t want to, but eventually caved in, what can I say? BEST. MOVIE. EVER. At some point Max and Monte decided to get drunk off their asses and were being total dicks.
“Hey, look at the loovebirdss.” Max slurred.
“Fuuck, ugly ass emoos.” Monte agreed.
“Go the hell away, no one wants you here.” Andy said.
“Fuck, you cutter!” Max said.
“Get the fuck out of here Max! You don’t know what you’re doing.” Usually when he was drunk he listened to me, not this time.
“Shut the hell up bitch, you can’t tell me what to do.”
“I’m telling you this as your friend, you and Monte need to go to sleep.”
“No way!” He said and pushed me. By instinct I pushed back, then he slapped me, so I punched him, which finally knocked some sense into him, Monte had left when I said to.
“Fuck you ugly ass whore.” I was offended by this, but I disregarded it and helped him into bed. Oh well, he’s drunk and doesn’t know what he’s doing. I led him to his bed and helped him lay down and closed his curtain.
“You ok?” Andy asked.
“Fine, I’m just going to sleep now.” I said and went to my bunk. He followed me and laid down next to me and pulled me closer to him, then he started singing Morticians Daughter and I slowly drifted to sleep.
