Tris POV

"Ow!" I yell as a beer bottle collides with my head after multiple rounds of painful hits, kicks, and whips. "I told you to be quiet!" He roars and throws 2 at a time for my punishment.

He does this until he whips off his belt and gets in his car to go to the bar. At that point my thoughts are fogged, like someone is putting a cloth over it, blocking them, and my vision has black dots on the edges.

Caleb is at a friends house to study, so I'm home alone, unable to move, bleeding.

As the black dots invade my vision completely and take me over, I hear my phone ring from upstairs. Oh well...

Tobias POV

As soon as I see her father leave in his car, I call Tris' phone, hoping she'll answer. Tris is tough, believe me, but against a 30 year old man. No.

"You've reached Tris, sorry I couldn't get to your call, leave your message and I'll call back as soon as possible!

Beeeeepppp

Shoot.

I rush outside and to Tris' house. With the door unlocked, I barge in and see Tris in an alarming pool of blood. Oh. My. Gosh.

Quickly, I rush upstairs to get her first aid kit. With blood flowing out of back and head, I wrap tight bandages around her head after properly cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and Neosporin. Then I lift up her shirt and pour the cleaning items down her back and wrap it in bandages and ace wrap on top.

After carrying Tris' concerning light weight body, I put her on her blue bedspread and lay her small head on the pillow.

Gosh, I love her so much.
