Chapter 13:Making More Friends

When they got inside, it wasn't... that bad? Ok I'm lying, its absolutely terrible... did Jeff even do anything when he came in here?! The cabin walls were... rotting. The floor, well its uneven, there's a torn up rug in the middle, a coffee table and a couch close to it. There was broken glass on the floor, and there are pieces of wood sticking up from the cherry wood flooring. Which looked terrible by the way.. so far everything looks terrible. Except the couch, that looks... ok. There was also a TV and a game console? They play video games? There was a ladder to the left of the cabin, that led up to a small attic, there was a smell coming from up there? Cheesecake? No, there cant be... can there, never mind. The curtains for the windows were ripped... well, parts of windows... they all seem to be broken? To the right, there seemed to be a small kitchen, that smelled terrible, Liz would rather smell cheesecake for the rest of her life than that stench! Near the back, there looks to be a trap door, probably leading to some sort of basement, more like torture chamber! Where did they all sleep?

They all walked in, no one bothering to take off their shoes, Liz didn't bother either, especially with all the broken glass on the ground. Liz saw something out of the corner of her eye. She looked over to see... a dog? "Hey Smile!" Jeff practically ran over and the dog began licking him. Smile looked over at Liz, then walked over and sniffed her. Liz got a little worried, is this dog mean? But then Smile began to wag his tail, and pushed his scared face against her hand, asking to be pet. He was acting like a normal dog? Is this dog a killer too?

"Wow Smile really likes you.. that's the first?" Jack broke the short silence. Liz had always wanted a dog? But her dad was allergic. So she could never have a dog, but now... this dog really seems to like her? Jeff put a hand on her shoulder, which made her flinch, "Smile does seem to like you, so anyone Smile likes, I like too." Jeff gave Liz a smile, this time a normal one, though it still looked weird, she could tell it was a kind gesture.

Jack came to stand beside Liz, "There are two back rooms..." when Liz looked, there were two 'actual' doors near the back, "The one to the far left is the girls bedroom, its kinda small, but you would only be sharing with Sally..." Jack continued. Sally, who's that? But Jack kept going, "To the right of that is the boys bed room, I wouldn't plan on going in there... ever. And there is an out house out back if you need to.. you know, 'go'."

Just then, as Liz was processing everything in her head, two figures appeared at the front door, one was a tall white figure, wearing a suit, and it had... no face? The other was a child, a little girl wearing a pink nightgown and had beautiful green eyes, but she seemed to be bleeding on her forehead, was that Sally? But who was the other guy?

"Hey Sally! Hey Slendy!" Hoodie and Masky frolicked over to them. Liz felt Slendy's gaze on her, even tough he has no eyes... or face? Just then Slendy appeared in front of Liz, and she flinched, stumbling back. "Woah, Woah Slendy! Its ok, she's with us." Zero ran up next to Liz, whos eyes were wide with fear now. "This is Liz." Zero introduced her. "Liz" Slendy said with a deep voice. How can he even talk?

Sally stumbled up to Liz. "Hi, I'm Sally! Can we be friends!?" Sally looked up at Liz with her bright green eyes, pulling on Liz's pants now. Liz smiled "Ya, but, is your head ok?" Liz bent down to get a better look at Sally's head, which dripped scarlet blood.

"She is dead Liz... She is immortal..."Jack broke in, and Liz's eyes widened at the words, "W-What?" Liz was speechless. Sally's smile turned to a frown, and her eyes turned sad "Do you not like me now? Now that you know the truth about me?" Liz had to think, it was strange to see a dead girl in front of her, who was.. alive? But she didn't feel scared, she felt happy around Sally.

Liz smiled, and Sally's eyes brightened again, "Oh course I like you Sally." Liz said, putting an arm on Sally's shoulder, which was grabbed by Sally's small, soft hand and Liz was dragged over to the couch which she sat next to Sally and Jeff who was now asleep on the couch, Smile lay at his feet. Sally looked over at Slendy "Can Lizzy sleep with me? Please!" Sally begged. Liz flinched at the name Lizzy, but she couldn't bring herself to yell at Sally. Liz saw Zero's face go from fear to shock as Liz did nothing after being called Lizzy.

Slendy responded with a nod, then vanished. Then someone appeared, where Slendy was, but this one was a lot smaller, and looked like a video game character?! "Hey Ben! Meet Lizzy! She is my new friend!" Sally called out to the boy who now stood before them. Liz didn't really want everyone to be calling her Lizzy. Masky and Hoodie waved their hello's then gestured that they were going to head out, and so they did. Jack went to go sit in a chair, and he watched Liz.

"Oh.. a newbie hmm? Well... nice to meet ya." Ben gave Liz a murderous grin, his red eyes beating into hers. "Lizzy, can you read me a story?" Sally asked as she got up and picked up a dusty old book. Liz looked a little shocked at the question, but did not protest. Sally handed the book to Liz, and Liz opened the book. Sally jumped back up onto the couch and sat really close to Liz. Zero came over and slid in-between Liz and the sleeping Jeff. Ben came over and sat on the coffee table in front of her. Liz felt a little weird reading to all of them, but she felt something... she felt, safe? Liz felt safe around all these killers, and that was ok? Liz looked down at the pages, she didn't even get the title, but that didn't matter. Liz saw Jack in a chair across the room, also listening. So Liz began to read the first chapter... "Cold winds blew leaves across the sky..."
