Chapter 15:Reunions

Liz woke up on the cold floor of the girls bedroom. She shivered and sat up, she wanted to go home, but there was no more home.

Liz flinched when she saw Sally sitting, cross legged right in front of Liz. "Are you OK?" Sally asked, tilting her head curiously. She looked so cute.

"I-I don't know." Liz replied, she really didn't know? Liz sighed then leaned up against the wall, it creaked which made Liz take a little weight off it.

Sally came and sat next to Liz, resting her head on Liz's shoulder. They both glanced over at a hole in the corner that led outside, they heard a 'meow'.

Liz's face turned from deep in thought to joyed at the sight of her cat. She had missed her so much! When Mittens saw Liz, she bounced over and sat in her lap.

Sally looked down at Mittens and smiled. Sally began to lightly pet the cat, making her purr and role over on her back. Liz and Sally both giggled. "Are you OK to come out of the room noe?" Sally asked unexpectedly. Liz stared at her, then turned to look back at Mittens, who was kneading Liz's leg lightly. Liz gave Sally a small smile, "yeah, I think I'm OK now." Liz and Sally both got up, Liz holding Mittens, what would smile think of her?

As they opened the door, Liz saw everyone glance over at her... except Jeff, who was asleep on the couch, one of his feet rested on the coffee table, his head was back and he wore a night mask as he snored quietly.

Zero was laying on the floor, playing cards with Jack, but they both paused and looked at Liz. Ben and Smile we're sitting in front of the TV. They we're playing a game, and Ben was winning... well of course he is, Smile can't even hold the damn controller.

"Bout time." Jack broke the silence, my only response was a glare, he just shrugged it off and looked back at his cards. "I win Zero..." Jack said calmly which made Zero glance at Jack, who was holding his cards out, it had 4 Kings. Zero looked back at his own cards to find random numbers and a Queen. "Damn it." He cursed under his breath, but he was smiling as he put the cards down.

Liz just stood there, holding Mittens, who looked really cautious as she glared at Smile, who just stared back, not making a move. Smile then got up and trotted over, wagging his tail. Mittens jumped from Liz's arms and spun around to hiss at Smile, who stared shocked at the cat. Mittens then began to run away. And Smile gave chase. The two raced around the room. Mittens jumped on the couch and lightly ran over Jeff's lap, making him giggle in his sleep, but he woke up to a giant dog running across him, crushing him in the process. Everyone looked at the now awake Jeff, who was holding his crotch, whimpering in pain. Sally and Ben broke out laughing at Jeff, while Mittens and Smile ran into the kitchen, Jack ran in after them, "Noo!! Stay away from my kidneys you pests!!!" Jack screamed from the kitchen, only making Sally and Ben laugh harder as the fell to the floor, clutching their guts as the laughed. Jack kept kidneys in the kitchen! Is that why it smells so bad!

Mittens ran under Jacks leg, making I'm slip and fall to the floor with a thud. Zero got up and stood next to Liz, who just watched the show. "That the same cat as before? " Zero asked, pointing at the cat who was running right at them. "Yup..." before Liz could finish, she was pushed back by Mittens flying into her arms, causing Liz to topple back into Zero. Zero caught her and laughed as he helped Liz to her feet. "That cat caused more trouble than Jeff on a full moon!" Zero laughed, "You just shut up!" Jeff yelled, still holding his crotch in pain.

Sally and Ben still lay on the floor, laughing like mad. Jack walked out of the kitchen, holding the back of his head. "S-Sorry." Liz giggled as everyone glared at her, then they all laughed, except Jeff. Jeff was glaring at Smile, who looked like he was laughing at Jeff. "Well, that was fun." Zero smiled as he pet Mittens head.

"No it wasn't!" Jeff protested but only made everyone laugh again, even Liz this time, she really liked these guys.

Liz and Zero sat on the floor and watched as Ben and Sally played a game. Mittens sat in Liz's lap, Smile came over and laid down next to Liz, making Mittens glare. Mittens and Smile sniffed one another. Smile licked Mittens head, making Mittens bop him on the head.

Luz felt tired again, and a little hungry, but she would get food later. Liz rested her head on Zero's shoulder, not caring who saw.

Zero flinched but didn't move. Liz drifted into sleep, breathing lightly out if her mouth to keep quiet. Zero smiled down at her, then frowned. When will he be able to tell her... should he even tell her... what should he do?

The next morning...

Liz woke up early in the morning, she must have hardly slept. Her head still leaned on Zero's shoulder, he looked focused. She glanced down to see a deck of cards in his hands. She looked up to see Jeff sitting across from him, also holding cards, but looking less focused. He kept glancing around the room till his eyes met mine, he grinned evilly. "Hey Zero... I see Jack behind you holding a knife..." Jeff lied and giggled. Zero flipped out and spun around to see the man who wasn't there. Zero's head hit Liz's and they both fell to the floor, Zero's cards flying everywhere. Mittens jumped out of Liz's arms and stared at her. Liz and Zero hit the ground with a thud as Jeff began to laugh, "I'm just going to say I win that round..." Jeff laughed and got up.

Zero glanced over at Liz and smiled, "Sorry about that..." he laughed. Why was he so scared? Liz smiled back and she tried to sit up. She stumbled back as her legs fell asleep. She stared at the ceiling, trying to focus on something other than the tingling feeling in her legs.

Zero turned his head to look at Liz, he laughed and he sat up. He put out his hand towards Liz. Liz took the hand and was pulled up with ease. She looked up at Zero, how was he so tall?! Jeff walked up to us, "I think Lizzy here should get used to..."Jeff was silenced by a smack to the face... by Liz, who was glaring at him. "Don't call me Lizzy! I don't not like that name so don't call me that!" Liz yelled, causing Zero to flinch. "Ok fine! But as I was saying, I think you should get used to the whole 'killing' thing. If you don't, your just going to get scared again and get us caught, and we don't want that..." Jeff sighed and Zero tensed up, why? "How in the world would you get Liz used to killing!" Zero stepped forward. "We are not going make her kill, she just has to get used to seeing it." Jeff explained, making Zero a little less tense about the whole idea.

Jeff and Zero looked at Liz, who stared at Jeff, then Zero. Was he actually ok with this idea!? "Well?" Jeff was persistent, Liz couldn't even think of what to do! "F-Fine..." Liz gave in, she would have to get used to seeing death sooner or later, especially staying with these psychopaths'. Zero's mouth dropped open in shock at her answer, while Jeff grinned evilly. "Well, now that you decided, ill give you the fun part..." Jeff giggle with his scarred face in an insanely grin. "You get to pick the family... well that's not actually the most fun part... the most fun is 'killing' them." Jeff broke out laughing. Liz looked shocked, Zero's expression was... well, there was no expression, was he not shocked by what Jeff was saying!?

When Jeff finally stopped his evil laugh, he looked at Liz. "Well, lets get going...". The three of them got out of the cabin, it was still morning, and it was cold, but Zero and Jeff seemed unfazed by it, while Liz stood shivering. Once they began walking towards the nearest street, Liz began to warm up a bit, but she still hugged herself, trying to be as warm as she could get.

When they got there, Jeff giggled. "I remember this neighborhood... I killed a few families here and there." Jeff said proudly. "Well, your pick..." Jeff glanced at Liz. How could she just 'pick' one! The house she picked, would mean that 'she' would be responsible for their death... well, in a way? Liz looked around, trying to pick one, she saw an old, dark brown wooden house by the corner of the road. It looked like there were not many people there.

Liz pointed to that house and Jeff's grin grew wider. "You actually picked one, your getting better at this already." Jeff laughed, causing Zero to tense up once again. They walked towards the house, the closer they got, the more worried Liz became. Would Jeff lie and make her 'kill' someone!?
