MY witty comebacks ~

C 3 : The chase

I was getting nearer . 

He kept running towards the elvator. He was almost there. 

I was getting closer and closer. 

The elevator door opened. He stepped in and when he saw me coming, he jabbed the 'close' button as fast as he could.

Almost... Almossttt ... THERE !

"HAH !" I put my foot in between the closing doors " GOTCHA !" I went into the elevator and once I got it, I regretted it at once. It was a really awkward moment. I folded my arms across my chest. I gave him a killer stare. He gave me an innocent look . Like I would fall for that !

He looked around he elevator. I shifted uncomfortably. 

When I looked back at him, he was starting to lean in closer to me. I leaned away from him, avoiding any contact. He came closer to me.  I looked for an escape route, but no luck.

Then it hit me. Well, actually I hit HIM.

PAKKK!!!

I slapped him across his face before he could get any nearer. That made him surprised and he fell off guard. I snatched my phone from his hand and just in time the door opened to let me out, as if this was all a plan.

I sighed in relief . "Pheww"

~And at last I see the liiiiight 

And it's like the fog has lifted

And at last I see the liiiight

And it's like the sky is neeeeeewww~

Oh ! My phone !

I know you were expecting more of an upbeat tone but hey ~ I liked Tangled .. =)

I checked the caller ID  : Mum 

"Hey sweetie.. My friends and I are just about done. They're coming over to ours. Where would you like to meet ?" 

"Ummm..  Where are you now?" 

"At my favourite perfume shop" 

Oh how I just HATE perfume and the fact that some people like to marinate themselves in perfume ! They think they smell welcoming and all, but believe me.. They most defintely do NOT !  Just a whiff of them could kill a gorilla ! 

"I'll go over there. Be there in 5.. " and I hung up. 

Well, at least there would be a slight chance of bumping into that boy . 

I started to walk to the perfume shop when my phone rang again. 

~There's something sweet

And almost kind

But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined

But now he's dear, and so unsure

I wonder why I didn't see it there before.~

Hey ! Stop staring at the computer screen ! And close your gaping mouth ! Some flies might fly in ...

Whatt ?? I can't help if I'm a DISNEY lover !  I use Disney songs when I assist Ballet classes , especially for the Baby classes and the Beginners class. Yes, I am a Ballerina. I assist a few Ballet classes and I love doing it !

You must also be wondering why the caller ringtone is different. Well, I use a special ringtone ( I see the lights - Tangled ) for my mum so that I can easily recognise it and also avoid getting nagged at for answering the call late.

The other ringtone ( Something there- Beauty and the Beast)  is for other - and less important-  calls.
