MY witty comebacks ~

C 30 : He's really leaving. ='(

"He's really leaving?", a very devastated Rane asked. 

"Yup.", I said bored. 

"....and you're not sad? At all?" 

I've been planning ( and crying ). It looks like I have to be all emotionless when I'm in the 'Ryder is leaving' convo . Maybe I'll just forget him .. sooner or later .. I hope.

If I prevent myself from crying over that jerk, I might feel better and maybe when we break up I'll be fine. 

Wa-wa-wa-wa-WAIT !

Ryder didn't say we broke up, did he ? We're still a couple. But.. if he's leaving, how will our relationship even work out? 

For a moment there, I had hope. I was kinda happy that we haven't broke up yet. A part of me didn't want him to break up with me, but a another part of me did. What? What's wrong with you ,other part ??

"umm.. Kherri ?" 

"Yeah.", I say, hoping its not another question about Ryder.

"When is he going?", Rane asked timidly. I guessed she figured out that I'm not a fan of Ryder anymore. The problem is; I still like Ryder.

I opened my mouth to give an answer, but I closed it back. I thought hard. "I- I dunno.. He ... didn't mention anything. "

Great ! Now I have to find out when he's going. I shouldn't have acted like that ! He could be staying for a few more months ,for all I know ! And for the few months, I'll be living in an embarrassment !

At school, I asked my gang to find out when he's leaving. I didn't dare look at Ryder after what happened. 

During lunch, Denise came running to me. I know it's Denise because she's wearing a striking pink headband. Her twin wore a bright yellow one. I hoped they didn't switch or anything. Its really hard to tell them apart.

She stopped right infront of me and looke to the right , left, back and behind me . 

"Umm.. what - ?", I asked with one eyebrow raised in confusion.

"I'm your spy, remember?" , she whispered.

"Okay..."

"Shhhh!!"

I was taken by surprise by her 'Shhhhh!' 

"Why are we whispering??"

"We're spies.. remember?" 

"Technically, you're a spy and I'm your boss.", I joked. 

Denise put one hand on her hip and looked at me with one eyebrow raised. "Seriously, Kherri ?" 

"Ok Agent D, what have you found out?" , I said seriously.

"Alright boss. We've found out that the jerk is leaving in 2 days." 

Yeahhh.. We code named Ryder 'jerk'.. Very immature, I know... but we didn't have anymore code name suggestions !

"TWO DAYS???" I shouted . I recovered myself and coughed . "Thank you Agent D. Your service is much appreciated." I smiled.

Denise smiled and skipped off to find her twin.

I avoided Ryder the whole day. I was even ready to hide when I see him. Luckily, the hiding was not needed.
