23: They Kissed

23.

I strutted into school as if i was the queen bee of the school, proud and everything. I leaned against my locker and took deep breaths, but the moment i opened my eyes i saw the each and everyone staring at me.

" Are you the school's new kid, I'm Jackson. "

I might have done a whole drastic change.

" Yeah, and I'm Calista, " Then i punched him in the arm and chuckled, " It's me you idiot. "

He stared at me for quite a few moments before his confused face turned to a smile, he tugged me in and hugged me and I returned it.

" Hey, " He gave a genuine smile, " Meet me at the back of the school, you know? Where we met since freshmen  and no one ever found out that place? It's still empty, and I will skip a period to clean that place up yeah. "

Oh, that.

Flashback:

When we first all entered the school as freshmen, I was actually quite well known.
The popular kids now, were the people who wanted to friends with me and were the ones who wanted to take pictures with me and hang out sometimes.
But I was naive and I did annoy all of them, it hurts at the beginning so i tried to gain them back but i guess the mistake was grave. I was noted as Annoying.

Anyways, I remained for the past few months until I met Jackson. We were in Math class and I didn't bring my textbook while he didn't bring his workbook so we decided to sit at the back if he class hoping we won't get caught and also not get any punishment points. He started telling me how I always would answer someone else's questions which was suppositedly for the person they were talking to.
I did get it, because until today( I'm a senior today ) it remained in my head.

But after awhile, I became back to my annoying, selfish me. Either I didn't really care about what is going on around me or I'm one of those who comes and interrupts you in mid-conversations.

So he brought me into that little room he found while he was exploring the school.

He decided to bring me in there, because there were many wordings on it eg. ' Be ashamed of yourself. ' / ' Look what you have done, and this is what you deserve. '

I shivered at those thoughts of what would have happened in the story behind of each wordings written on the wall. I was also quite sure there were deaths there but i couldn't guarantee about that.

Back to the present:

After all the lessons, I went to to the little room about what i was recalling.

" Hey, " He tapped on my shoulder as i turned about and punched his face, " Dammit Calista, I said use fighting for defends and not using it as and when you like! "

I smiled sheepishly before answering, " Well, I'm sorry. I have a name for a reason, do you want to know that reason? Oh well, it meant for CALLING SOMEONE. "

" That zero to hundred change of attitude, little sis. "

I tackled him on the grounded, lightly and teasingly punching him in the stomach.

He faked pain and placed his hands on my waist while I was sitting on his torso.

And that's when it became serious.

As he placed his hands on my waist, he slid it to my back. Causing me to shiver in return, he gave a reassuring smile and then forcefully pushed my back making me lean towards him, making me feel super scared and uncomfortable.

" He..y, what ya doin' bud? Are you on some kind of drugs? "

We were just centimetres away from each other and I brought my hands from my waist in between on chests and pushed him as forcefully as i could. It did work, but partly thirty percent and then I gave up.

THIRD POV:

He decided to just do a small quick kiss in her lips that he had been yearning for since freshmen year, he thought she liked him in return as well but just too shy too show it.

But maybe she did really not love him and only love him as an older brother. She closed her eyes the whole entire time, hoping that she was dreaming and could return to where she was a class earlier thinking about the kiss. It did happen, but just not between the right people. Lewis and Calista.

She pushed him away and this time, he let her off and allowed her to sit upright and against the wall.

" Why? "

It was all she could have said.
