Chapter 27

I plopped into my seat, sighing as I run my hands through my shouldered length hair. Thinking about it, time has really flew past after meeting, the one and only, Lewis. Six months? Around that time I guess.

It may be nothing, but to me is something. Even though meeting you was something i least expected, talking to you was a miracle and becoming friends was the impossible. But it happened, but they say, nothing will last forever. Welcome back to reality.

But then again, why would Valerie Heartson want to ruin me when I barely know her? She doesn't even look at me, talk to me or even befriend me so what motive is behind all these befriending a boy whom I definitely NOT LIKE? Jokes.

It's crazy how everyone knew she liked him or vice versa but the other character never knows because they call it a ' wattpad story ' but I beg to differ. Valerie Heartson is one of them.

She's single yet taken, which doesn't exactly make any sense and that doesn't matter at all because I know I shouldn't care but when she aiming the guy I like, I mean, I'm ready to fight a war with me versus 500,000 men! I guess.

But man, you need to know that I finally gave up on him after a month of convincing myself that liking him is a waste of my time.

I have decided to talk to him face to face and settle everything, I know hands down to me.

After finding out Lewis' sickness which is reading out the letter of confession of to, he said that he could remember anything and everything.

" So what do you want to do when you grow up? " i asked casually.

" Honestly, I don't know. "

" But after finding out your Momma's condition, how did you feel? "

" Scared, of course. I didn't know what to do, thank goodness you were around. " He replied.

" Doctors are superheroes, except that they make mistakes too. Some lives may be lost because of them but they save peoples lives. Don't you think? What if you became one so you could save your Momma's life? "

FLASHBACK TO 5 hours ago; LEWIS HOUSE

" Hey Anna, I came to visit! " I stepped into their house ( I still have the key, don't ask me how ) I thought that once I forgotten Lewis, I could face him without feeling scared of whatsoever.

" What are you doing here? "

" Uh, " I mumbled, " To visit everyone else besides you? "

" Don't be all sarcastic. " He fights back.

" where's your Mom? "

" In her room. "

I walked up and opened their room door ( yknow Mr Anderson and Anna? )

" Hey Ann- Oh my goodness. ", I yelled.

Lewis came up, stunned on why i yelled. He realized.

A body, around her late 40s. Beautiful hair, and clear skin. ANNA.

Think quick, Calista.

And before I knew it, I was at the hospital.

Lewis, Mr Anderson, the little kiddo were all there. Only the kiddo was crying.

Lewis POV

I never knew her words could strike me so directly, her words became alive. My thoughts we playing the same thing as what she said, me as a doctor. If only I could help Mum, when she fainted i wasn't there for her. Calista was the one who called the ambulance, tried doing CPR on her while I just stood there doing nothing. I was scared just like Morgan but she at least did things that I couldn't do at that point in time.

She might be twenty-four-seven stupid and clumsy but she has something that I don't have.

" Uh, Anderson can I talk to you for a sec? "

Oh well, I forgot. I was with The Andersons, silly me.

Before I could pull him away, he did it first.

" Hey, what's going on? " He asked.

" Wha- "

" Valerie Heartson and you? "

" Nothing, " I said, but decided to add in, " Absolutely nothing. "

" Okay, but I have nothing to do with her okay? " *******
