Hesitantly, Angus raised a piece of bread to his lips. He'd never eaten this bread before, and he wasn't sure how he felt about a thin layer of butter on top for flavor. Evelyn watched him, an excited glint in her eyes which made him take a bite. The soft bread tore into his mouth and he was shocked from the flavor. He couldn't describe the amazing flavor of the bread however he didn't like the butter.

"Ah, butter not good." He said, still chewing his food. Evelyn nodded at him and handed him a piece of bread with no butter on it. He ate that one happily while Evelyn placed his off to the side of the tray. Next they tried pasta with a simple tomato sauce on it and it took Angus a while to warm up to the taste. It was strange, it tasted so different to what he ate his whole life and being honest he didn't overly enjoy it. His berries and fruits had a mass of flavor and tasted real when this in a way tasted fake, unnatural. When they got around to desert, Angus stared at the piece of chocolate cake.

It looked a whole lot like mud.

But it tasted entirely different. The flavor was magnificent, the chocolate flavor bursting on his tongue captivated that something could taste as good as this that he moaned out without even realizing the sound came from him. Not even a minute later he was finished, licking his fingers and looking Evelyn in the eye ready to ask if there was anything else.

Evelyn couldn't help but flush as her body lit up, the moan from Gus mixed with the sensual way he was licking his fingers made a shiver run down her spine. She forgot everything for a moment and watched his pink lips move as he asked her a question, her eyes locked on them.

"Evy? Evy?" He asked snapping her out of it.

"What? Huh, sorry Gus." She flushed, caught.

"More, uh. Any more cake?" Evelyn nodded her head and grabbed the last slice from the tray and handed it to him. She couldn't help but stare as he ate his cake, his full lips so entrancing and his eyes playfully met hers when he caught her looking. He couldn't help but wonder if she had the feeling to put her lips on his, just like he had before.

By the time Evelyn finished her one slice, Gus finished off his second one. It was so heavenly the cake, however he felt sick now. It was too rich and too much in too little time and he flopped backward on the floor, groan escaping his lips as his hand rested on his belly as though that would take away the discomfort.

"You ate too much cake, Gus." Evelyn laughed at his rookie mistake. The cake was amazing but it was so rich that you couldn't eat tonnes of it, just like Gus had discovered the hard way.

"iknwo." He mumbled in response. Evelyn crawled over closer to him holding up a water bottle and offering him some water. He accepted gratefully and only drank a small bit, knowing how rare clean water is to find.

"You're not thirsty?" Evelyn asked as she skulled most of her water.

"Not lots water. Hard to find." He said, wondering how she was using so much so freely.

"Don't worry Gus, we brang heaps with us. Have as much as you want." Evelyn said with a smile.

Gus loved it when she smiled.

As Angus lay on the mattress, he lay on his back like a starfish, eyes closed and breathing deeply. He's asleep, Evelyn thought, a bit of disappointment running through her. She was hoping they could stay up for a while, talk about nothing or maybe even snuggle for a while but she know she was pushing it. He was used to being alone, he probably didn't want to spend every minute with her. A pile of blankets and pillows were collected before and placed on the ground, enough to make a soft surface but not as good as her mattress would feel.
