Mijoo's P.O.V

"Where are you?"

I spoke to Sujeong over the phone.

"I'm sorry!I can't make it,I have to stay back for class duties!"

Sujeong apologised as i protested.

"But-

"Gotta go now!I'm sure you'll be fine alone!"

She hung up,as I sighed.I took a look at my ticket.

The Perks of Falling In Love.

I read the title out loud.Wow,so I'll be watching a romantic movie,just me,and my bag of popcorn and coke.

Perfect.

I sarcastically said in my mind,and went inside the theater.

Row 13,Seat 5.

I found my seat and comfortably sat on it,siping my coke,like no one was here.

A guy about my age walked in,with black hair,and was talking on the phone.

"Where are you?What do you mean you can't make it!?You dragged me to this movie,Kim Taehyung."

He whisper-shouted and took a seat beside me.Well,both our friends ditched us.

He sighed.

"Fine"

He hung up,as the movie started.

I felt awkward when there were any kiss scenes,and wanted to move away to another empty seat,but I thought that would be impolite and rude.So I just stayed there.

Besides,the movie was getting more and more interesting,and I was soon immersed in it.I didn't even notice someone staring at me.

Wait.What?

I turned to my right,to see the guy from earlier staring at me.He quickly looked back to the screen,and a muttering an apology.It was awkward,and all I did was bow my head,and continue watching the movie.

Until I heard a stomach grumble.

I glanced at the guy beside me,before shyly offering popcorn.He looked at me.

"You...seem hungry?"

I said as I chuckled.He gave me a warm smile.

"Thank you"

He whispered,before taking a handful.

We watched the movie in silence,and he laughed softly whenever there was a funny scene,but turned beet red whenever there was a romantic one.That was cute.

The movie ended,and I tried to carry all the things in my hand,but failed miserably.

I spilled some popcorn,and my drink almost spilled too.

"Here,I'll help you-oh!"

He tried to help me,but I ended up spilling some coke on his shirt.

"Umm,I-I'm sorry!"

I quickly said,stuttering before running off with my bag,leaving him with scattered popcorn and coke spilled on the floor.

It was my natural instinct.I run whenever I feel embarrassed.

I ran until the alley at the back.There was barely anyone there.I leaned on the wall,panting.I sighed,and closed my eyes.I felt my face.It was really hot.

"That was so embarrassing!"

I said to myself,while stomping my feet on the ground.I calmed down,and finally opened my eyes,to see the guy who I left in front of me.

Now I'm trapped.

"Oh..."

I said,looking down.

"Umm,Hi?"

He said,and I quickly apologised.

"Look,I'm sorry,I didn't mean to,I was just so embarrassed,and I guess it's just my natural instinct to run,and-

He brought his finger to my lips before chuckling.

"It's alright,now stop rambling already"

I stopped,with my cheeks feeling hot.

"Did you see me?-Umm,like did you just get here,or-

"I saw everything."

I cursed myself in my head for embarrassing myself again.

"It's alright!You're cute!"

He said,laughing,while pinching my cheek.

"I'm Hoseok,you are?"

He held his hand out.

I smiled before looking up at him.

"Mijoo"

"Hmm,Mijoo.Nice name.Since you spilled your drink and food on me just now,how about you buy me a meal?I bet you would like to apologize~"

He said in a sing-song voice.

I laughed before continuing to walk off.

"Hey!Aww,come on,Mijoo is a nice name.I'm sure your personality is just as nice~"

He sang.

I stared at him,smiling,while folding my arms.

"Please?Mijooju?"

I chuckled,before giving in.

"I knew you were nice"

And that's how I met my best buddy,Hoseok,my dance partner,my best friend,and my other half in life.

"Well that's a cheesy and sudden ending!"

Hoseok said as I recited the words we wrote when we were both drunk.

"It's true though,and I like it.See,even my drunk self is smart!"

I said,boasting.

"Righht"

He said sarcastically as I laughed.

The last part was true.

Fun fact:I wasn't drunk.
